Lovely hotel with friendly staff. They also offer dinner - it's a bit more pricey than in the city, but nice. Lovely room and good facilities. Rather outside of the city - you'd probably need your own transport (we came by tuktuk).

I like that it was located close to the rice fields and small river. The property has a nice indoor and outdoor area. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful.

It is a little bit out of the city center. It didn’t have hot water in the bathroom.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Isuru who drove us around the entirety of Dambulla and could not be more helpful. We would 100% stay again and were very sad to say goodbye!

Beautiful clean rooms. Amazing green property and with a stunning view over the rice fields from the restaurants. There is also a river around that is beautiful to have a stroll or dip. The family was super welcoming and helpful. I'll definitely come back when in Dambulla.

    Nothing all great.

Very quiet property in a green environment with a nice garden. Hosts were friendly. I booked "single room with bath". No a/c, fan only. There is no bath, I think what they mean is private bathroom, which was big and clean. The room was nice and the single bed comfortable. There was no furniture to put my bag on, and so it had to go on the floor which is inconvenient. It was a fan only room and it was stifling hot, almost unbearable. I knew this going in and therefore I haven't marked down the rating I gave this accommodation, BUT the big problem was that the large sliding door didn't have an insect screen. If there had been an insect screen then the glass door could have been left wide open in the evening and the fan would have cooled the room quickly, but there were mosquitos so I couldn't leave it open. The breakfast was overpriced. A flat overcooked egg based thing which I suppose was an omelette but it was more like a frisbee. Not much fruit. A bit of a distance from town and the cave temple so you need to get a cheap tuk-tuk, as it is probably too far to walk. It is still a nice property and if you have a/c it would be perfectly comfortable.

    Breakfast.

the breakfast was both affordable (4 dollars) and enough.the location was abit out of Dambulla but tuk tuk was available always to pick you up

There are some dogs in the property .regarding that im suffering from animal phobia that was really scary for me when I was eating my meals in the yard and these dogs came close to me.

The location is so nice, right opposite to the rice fields, it was so quiet there and so comfortable to sleep! The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and nice. It was very clean and nice. The owners are very polite and friendly, we also had a good dinner there.

We rent 2 rooms, and in the small room the shower was not comfortable to use

We loved our stay at Evergreen Hotel so much. The owners were so helpful and kind, made sure we saw all the sites in Dambulla. They also prepared us a delicious breakfast everyday, which we enjoyed with a gorgeous view. Isuru took us around for the day in their Tuk Tuk to see Sigiriya Rock, Golden Temple and many other sites. The facilities were clean and beautiful. Lovely views in the restaurant area.

Beautiful and modern building / home. Clean room and bathroom with a free water bottle and soap. Real hot water when there’s water available. A bit far from city but it’s clearly indicated. (20/25mn walk or 50 roupees for a 5mn bus ride).

No mosquito net and/or protection available, very very disappointing when the building is located between a small river and rice fields. It kept me from two good nights of sleep. I really spent two horrible nights and left one day earlier than expected because of the mosquito situation but that’s me. The place is beautiful and the people very nice! They deserve credit for their hard work that’s why I can’t go lower than 7 !

Very nice hotel with clean and well maintained rooms. Everything was working fine. Isuru - the hotel driver was our superstar and made our stay in Dambulla so much better than expected. We had lots of fun with him and I highly recommend trusting him with his recommendations.

One of our favourite places we stayed in while in Sri Lanka. The hotel is well maintained and the staff super friendly/helpful. It’s located on the road to sigirya which is very practical to get there for sunrise. I’d recommend the place for a stay in Dambulla
