Right at Nilaweli beach. We had the best time spent on the water and the hotel being right by the water . Staff was very accommodating and friendly and kept up with our needs

Great location right on the beach which was sparklingly clean. Pool as well which was also nice and clean. Lovely shaded gardens, friendly staff and a bar. Whole place was very well maintained. Exactly as per the photos.

NetherlandsFew leaves in the bathroom. There was quite some staff that did not have much to do because of low season. But also did not help us / tell us stuff about the location / asked us if we wanted anything. They do that everywhere else so that confused me but did not bother me.
The swimming pool on the beach is really nice. Good value for the money. The room is quite spacious and nice bed. The property looks very luxe.

GermanyStaff forgot our food / drinks several times, didn’t clean table and was just busy chilling and then you had to pay 10% service charge for underwhelming service. Besides that there was a drunk neighbour of them always screaming at the bar and they didn’t got him away.

The staff people were absolutely careful and kind. The location is absolutely amazing. In comparison to most of the guesthouses & hotels we saw, the Hotel Coral Bay benefits from a very clean pool in front of the ocean, alongside a very quiet and clean beach with a very cosy bar. Everything is surrounded by eather grass or sand and the atmosphere is really peaceful. You can easily count on the staff to call tuk tuk/taxis & make some massage bookings for you in the surroundings. Big plus : a snorkeling & scuba diving company is located just near the beach bar and offers qualitative activities options with competent instructors. Rooms are minimalists but clean & each of them have a sea view.

The beach and the swimming pool are great, so is the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff are great, very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed and asked for. In the evenings it was nice to walk along the beach to other restaurants in the area.

United KingdomThe hotel was slightly dated and rooms small. The bathrooms had a gross smell to it that didn’t seem to go. Staff need training on customer service as food and drink preparation took a long time. There were ants on the table we were sat at and when asked to wipe the table the bar tender simple brushed the ants off - cleaning products should be used.
The hotel is in an excellent location close to quiet, clean beaches with clear sea water to swim. There is a pool on the edge of the hotel and beach too which is okay.

GermanyWe were there for 3 nights. During this time, the bed linen was not changed, nor the towels. No one asked whether we needed fresh ones. The water in the shower was running very slowly. They didn't come to repair it. The staff was very friendly but didn't care much. There is also a restaurant and a bar with very tasty food but also the waiters didn't care much and didn't show own initiative, didn't come to ask whether you would like to order something else. The swimming pool needs to be cleaned also during the day, mostly during windy days, but no one did.
The place is very nice, with garden, swimming pool, beach and sea. Tasty food in the restaurant.

GermanyThe hotel is a bit outdated and some things could be replaced. Everything is rather basic. The staff is kind, but a bit cold and unprofessional. There is not much in walking distance and you need a TukTuk to get to the city center.
Hot water shower. The pool was nice and the beach was absolutely awesome: super clean, blue and there were literally no people. Super quiet. Wifi was okay.
