The dinner buffet could be improved as options were very limited. Specially for Kids choices. Have been here before and I see the standards have dropped.

Rooms felt old, detergent layer was on the floor despite requesting for 2nd clean up. Creating a soapy foam when wet and feet felt sticky. Need to obtain halal certification in order to target a new segment of customers. Ended up eating from outside due to lack of halal certification.

They need to appoint more staff to the restaurant, at least for the holidays. Otherwise, we need to keep looking for someone just to get some water.

Experience at price point was decent. What could make it better: 1. Still using single use plastic 250 ml bottles. This is tragic when 90% of resorts in all price ranges have shifted to glass bottles and supply unlimited water. Here, they expect you to buy drinking water. 2. Pool closes at 7PM. Why? Most other resorts keep the pool open till at least 10. If you cant keep a lifeguard on duty after 7, clearly tell guests it is their own responsibility. 3. Pool staff extremely stressful about you returning towels. Why? Why not just collect from the rooms later? Why add the friction with guests? And the pool boy wanted me to come to him to collect the towel from his corner. Stack up the towels outside by the pool for guests to take and use as needed.

dinner was not up to the mark. also checking was delayed by 30 minutes till 2.30 since room was not ready.

We didn't purchase dinner with our package and it was quite difficult to get food outside of the buffet hours. The hotel is not located around many other restaurants.

The room was of a good size and the shower had a great pressure and temperature. The pool was nice and the beach was fun to swim at. The buffet breakfast was nice.

Poor communication. We requested early check in and did not get any answer. Upon arriving and waiting for several hours with two kids in the lobby, prior to being eventually offered an option. Requested management to come back to me and they never did. Shows poor consideration for customer. Breakfast overcrowded and food management very poor. Nearly impossible to get basic items timely. In our bathroom the towel hanger was floppy and broke. We asked for it to be fixed and they just removed it without providing a replacement. Overall esthetics of furniture and apartment was average with doors loose (mosquitoes come in easier) and work out furnitures... Spa is a scam. Expensive and therapists have no technique or facilities are understaffed (only one lady for 3 days to run the place herself) For a "suite" at 500 USD a night, this is really not what we were expecting.... For sure we will not come back to Citrus - these are tourist traps hotels.

The food was substandard , disappointed with buffet ( lunch and dinner), these lacked variety, ( below standard to when we visited Sri Lanka 2 years ago. The breakfast had variety and was good.

1. They only provided three complimentary 500ml water bottles per room, which is insufficient. At least six bottles should be provided. Although we were on the all-inclusive package and could get unlimited water bottles from the bar free of charge, it seems unfair for Full Board, Half Board, and Bed & Breakfast customers. 2. The extra bed was uncomfortable. 3. The all-inclusive package was self-service, which wasn't ideal. At a minimum, they could have offered service at the pool bar. 4. The buffet spread and variety were limited, with no pork, beef, or bacon options. There was only one ice cream flavor available each time. 5. Some food items were of low quality or spoiled (e.g., Deval Prawn on 08/11/2024). 6. The air conditioning in the lunch buffet restaurant area was inadequate. 7. One of the elevators frequently malfunctioned. 8.There is no key card system to unlock the doors. 9. The Wi-Fi stopped working at one point. I called to inform them, but I had to go to the reception for assistance before it was fixed. 10. The Wi-Fi was slow, not even sufficient for watching YouTube videos. 11. The all-inclusive offering was available from 10 A.M. to 11 P.M., but it should have been from 6 A.M. to 12 A.M. 12. There were very limited activities, with no games like chess or carom available.

1. The location was beautiful, especially at night on the beach. That area was well-decorated. 2. The rooms had sufficient air conditioning. 3. The rooms were spacious. 4. The main bed was comfortable. 5. The garden area was nicely decorated. 6. They offered the all-inclusive package at 12:00 P.M before 2.P.M 7. There was a live music band on Saturday night. I wish it was available every night. 8. Environment was super for relax

They took so much of time to refill some items. Booking.com charges $120 when I was booking and they charged $150 from me. They said it was a tax.

Ambiences and the surrounding environment with the pool.

Room was good, Dinner the same food for two days, Breakfast the same. You all can improve on the action stations. Sea food limited which is not good.

Maintenance and cleanliness could be improved. Shower pressure insufficient. Toaster in dining area needs to be replaced.

Beautiful location with sea views. Some of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
