    The most spotlessly clean room I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka, spacious with so many places to hang your beach stuff, great location just 2 minute walk to the beach, lady who owns it is lovely and the breakfast is delicious and huge every morning, prepared at your requested time! I also arrived super early but the room was ready for me to go straight into which was fab

    Property response:

    thank you very much for your comments 🙏🙏

    Very friendly host, just a 4-minute walk to the beach, and a lovely veranda to relax on. Highly recommended!

    Bathroom is a little old, but it is clean :)

    Lovely host, great location. Quiet compared to many other areas in the South. One of our favourite home-stays in all of Sri Lanka. Great food and coffee to start the day.

    Nice location away from the crowded city center and walking distance to the beach; very clean rooms and bathroom, large terrace where you can relax, good coffee and local breakfast with fruit, very nice hostess;

    Really nice garden and clean place. Friendly owners and delicious breakfasts.

    So many mosquitos flying inside the room trough small window in thw bathroom, would be great to consider putting some mosquito net on the window. There is a net around the bed and it’s the only „safe” place in the room. Not many restaurants around, only low quality beach restaurants :( and no availability to eat in homestay

    We booked for one night and stayed three in the end. The host Prasada was amazing. Friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious too. The room is spacious and spotless and thoughtfully designed with plenty of places to put stuff. The large balcony was perfect looking out into the well tended garden. Lovely Goyambakka beach is 100 metres away with some very chilled restaurants. Highly recommended.

    Nothing.

    - our room was in a nice cottage in the owners garden - nice garden with a lot of flowers, bananas, palms etc (jungle feeling) - good breakfast (it was also possible early in the morning) - 100m away from the beach and about 20 min walking away from the silence beach - friendly staff, it is an family run accommodation

    - there are not a lot of restaurants but you won't go hungry. Best one is "Ceylon Chef", approx 20min away on foot - at our stay the peacocks were very loud early in the morning (not a complain, that's nature)

    We had a great stay. The host was very kind and helpful, he arranged a motorbike for us and gave us a shuttle to the bus station. The room was clean and the beaches there were beautiful. The breakfast was very good and a lot. We definitely recommend to stay here!

    He has a dog that is locked away most of the day which is sad for me but of course normal in countries like that. But he still looked out for the dog better than most people on the island.

    It's a really nice place, very clean, so close to the beach where you can swim that area with many beach restaurants and the supperb hospitality from Mr. Udesh, the owner who live in his house next in the same property which you're looking much safe in your travels. I'm highly recommended this place for very peaceful holiday with much relax!!

    I can only recommend Blue Point Rest (former name: Golden Beach Resort). The hosts are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean, spacious and cozy with a nice balcony or terrace. The breakfast is varied, extensive and very delicious, although personal wishes are also taken into account. It is only a few minutes' walk to beautiful Goyambokka Beach. There are also dining options nearby. I've stayed here several times and I feel right at home there. Thanks to Ushan and his family for the wonderful days.
