Pashindu was super helpful. We let us stay at night playing card, adapted to our schedule and helped us staying a night longer. Breakfast is different every day which is also good

One of the best places I've stayed in Sri Lanka. Great A/C, comfy beds, and located in a quiet backstreet. The owner went above and beyond by having me rent his motobike for a day and picking it up afterwards! 🫶🏻

For me (185 cm) the bed was a little bit too small but it has happened before in Sri Lanka.

Great location, super friendly staff and a big, clean room with AC. The hosts were very helpful. We came back from our whale watching tour at 1 pm and then still got a late breakfast served. Also we forgot something in the room and they helped us straight away to get it back. Would definitely come back here :)

A neighbour’s dog barks a lot! both day and night, so your sleep may be disturbed.

Lovely friendly staff, and great Sri Lanka hospitality. Very good value for money. This hotel is a great option in a quiet but central neighbourhood, with good restaurants, shops, laundry, and good coffee all within a minute walk.

The room was a bit small for a family of 5. Two double beds but not their fault.

Very friendly woman cooking and working here. So kind with my children! The breakfast is 👍 and so was the room. It is quite simple but good.

The shower was my only slight complaint as it was pretty rustic and no enclosed area so the entire. bathroom floor gets all well. Wasn’t that big of a deal for me though.

First, the staff were so kind and wonderful. They were very accommodating, doting, and helped me out with a travel related pinch I got myself into. The room was very clean. For the money, it was a very good value if you want a budget hotel room. No bells and whistles, but totally did the job! I extended 2 nights actually for a total of 5.

We've been here 10 months ago already and we booked this place again because we much enjoyed it the last time. It's calm and quiete though it's just a 5 min. walk to the beach. Again we had the deluxe room. We love the big and comfortable bed. Breakfast is very good, room and washroom are very clean. Love to sit in the balcony with garden view. All for a reasonable price. Tusath and his family are so friendly and always available and helpful. Everything was as good as the last time. We've stayed at many places in Sri Lanka already, because we visit Sri Lanka regularly. The Awon Hotel is one of our most favorite places to stay. We're sure we will come back again to Mirissa and then will stay here again. Thank you again, Tusath.

The water pressure was very low to have a face wash, and the staff is asking to turn off the A/C when we go out and when we get into the room it was very hot.

This was our secound stay at Awon Mirissa. The host and the staff was fantastic and has grate attitudes. Spotless and well cleaned place. Beds were very comfortable.Most importantly the place is very close to the beach and nearby attractions.I had an absolute wonderful experience this time as well. I would definitely come back to Awon Mirissa on my next trip to down south.
