The host was very friendly and welcomed us right away! She had a big menu with very nice food. She explained and helped us book the activities near by. We also got a free upgrade of the room. Would recommend this stay in Tangalle!

The owner is amazing She organised everything for us turtles at night turtle in the morning Til Tils and a car to go to Galle she cooked with us in the evening it was just perfect

The owner helped us to watch the turtle. She also cooked diner for us.

It's in the nowhere, but on the beach you can see the turtle.

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel! The location is great—very close to the beach and within walking distance of Turtle Beach, where we had the unforgettable experience of watching giant green turtles lay eggs. The hotel is spotless, and both breakfast and dinner were exceptional, offering a mix of authentic Sri Lankan dishes and classic Western options. The owner is incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely cares about guests’ comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm and memorable stay!

Wonderful stay with a lovely family. The room was big, very comfortable and extremely clean. Good shower. Fantastic food and huge portions. Lots of great walks in the area.

Rooms very small no light & no garden view one room opened to the restaurant the other to the kitchen no hot water we complained and were told if we don’t like it we can leave

The hotel is in the perfect location to watch sea turtles laying their eggs on the beach in the evening—an incredible experience. And the food? There’s nothing better in Sri Lanka! Plus, the stunning natural scenery makes it even more special.

Owner was friendly & couldn’t do enough for you. The food & choice & amount was excellent. Only 10 minute walk to the turtle sanctuary.

A little remote.

The manager Ravindu was the perfect hostess. Very welcoming and friendly bringing us drinks and tea upon arrival. She organised transport for us to the turtle retreat and cooked the most amazing dinner. Certainly one of the best we had throughout our stay in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious with a huge plate of fresh fruit, lovely local curd , hoppers and sweet pancakes - superb. The lovely open balcony overlooking the garden and pond opposite was a really relaxing and sociable place to meet and chat with fellow guests. Rooms were big with good bathrooms and a four poster bed. We all agreed that it was just a perfect, rural location, so close to the beach and turtles and also had great bird watching opportunities. Quiet and very relaxing - it was our favourite guesthouse throughout our stay. Thank you Ravindu for making us so welcome.

The location next to the lagoon and only 15 minutes gentle stroll from Rekawa beach rock pool, and lovely beach near the fishing harbour were great. Cool shady terrace to sit and watch the monkeys, birds and water buffalo from. Pryanthi is an amazing host and cook - the place was spotless- AC was great. Best breakfasts and dinners in Sri Lanka - varied and so much that you couldn’t possibly finish it all. Free bikes to get around the sandy quiet lanes if you didn’t fancy the walk. We only had 2 days here and wished we had stayed longer. Turtle beach - watching the turtles laying their eggs then going back to sea was also a highlight - get there late in the evening then it shouldn’t be so busy.

It’s a lovely guest house in a beautiful garden right by a lagoon filled with birds. Prianti is welcoming, friendly & the rooms are clean & comfortable with a great communal balcony. As for the food…it’s delicious. Generous portions of fresh fruit, curd, terrific hoppers & curry, fresh fish/ prawns ….etc

This is a really lovely place to stay. It's run by a friendly family, the food is absolutely delicious, it's incredibly clean and it's in a quiet rural location surrounded by trees but close to beaches. Fantastic place for birdwatching! Couldn't recommend highly enough.

A lovely location near to a beautiful beach. The host was a lovely lady who cooks beautiful meals and really wants to look after her guests.

There is nothing to dislike!!!

The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious and very fresh and the room was super clean.

Literally everything, as soon as we entered, we felt like coming home. What a wonderful human being that owns and runs the place! Extremely comfortable bed, best food, very clean, surrounded by plants and nature. Best stay we had in Sri Lanka! <3
