Super friendly people! We felt at home for our entire stay. Breakfast was good and tasty. Room was extremely clean and we loved our little 4 legged dog friend Max. If you don't pet him, he'll leave you alone. If you give him attention, you will get love from him. Wifi was good as well. Bonus tip: if you love playing Padel, there is a padelclub "Tropicpadel" 1 minute from the hotel. In our 4 day stay I played 2 matches there. If you want, you can also book lessons there. Furthermore, the hotel is in a very good location from which you can see everything near unawatuna. Restaurants close by, shops close by, beach close by. If you would like to have a pool day you can book that reasonably cheap at Araliya beach club which is also on 1 minute walking distance.

Very nice place located close to many restaurants, souvenir shops etc. Beaches are within walking distance. The room was clean with nice stylish decorations, there were some flower leaves put on the bed, sink, tables, chests which made a nice atmosphere. Good breakfast. The staff was very helpful. They arranged a transport to the airport much cheaper than what we found using Pick Me app. I can recommend that place🙂

The manager at this place is so helpful. She helped us arrange tuk tuk and a taxi to Negombo for great price. Housing was really nice, rooms were big and modern and breakfast was served and tasty. A lot of greenery in this housing. Location is good, a few minutes from the busy main street and beach. Thank you!

The view from the front room wasn’t great due to recent building but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Everything else was perfect.

This guest house is a perfect oasis in Unawatuna. It is spotlessly clean, the rooms beautifully decorated with everything you need (including a mosquito net) and set in a lovely calm tropical garden. We were well looked after by the best team (especially Gayani) who was so friendly. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended!

Noise from the street was a bit disturbing, particularly at night. The lighting in the room was a bit dim and probably I'd have one more mirror in full size.

Nice villa with a few rooms to rent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we also used laundry service which was very quick. Location is good, close to the central beach and also within walking distance from the Jungle beach - no need to use tuk tuk, you can have a nice walk through the jungle with great views. The villa was very comfortable with a pleasant garden when we had breakfast every morning. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable. The AC was doing a great job!

The pillow was a bit "high", but that goes for almost all pillows in Sri Lanka. Says more about me than the pillows perhaps.

The only thing that surprised us about Unawatuna was that, at times, it felt like being in Moscow :) — which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage :)

We spent a wonderful 5 days at Alice in Paradise. The hosts were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. The breakfasts were excellent, offering both continental and Sri Lankan options. We were actually sad to leave. The location is great, and the beach is suitable for children. We also visited nearby beaches and were never disappointed. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area.

The rooms are quite big and very clean. We had everything that we needed. The place is a short walk distance from the main beach ( around 4 min). Breakfast is more than enough, homemade gem that is extremely tasty. When it comes to the staff, no words can describe their hospitality. Places become more beautiful because of people. I will definitely be returning soon!

Per accident we stayed in Unawatuna for a night and found this hidden gem online. The only thing we didn’t like was, that we couldn’t stay another night. All of the staff were so so nice, especially the owner. The rooms were amazing, the breakfast was one of the best we had and the place was very clean and beautifully decorated with flowers. We are seriously considering coming back. 100% recommend
