The accommodation is run by a very friendly host and it is a perfect place to stay for female solo- travellers as well!

Lovely stay! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully kept. The location was great, and the staff were kind and genuine. Definitely recommended!

Friendly host, nice location: a relatively quiet place very close, few minutes walk to the buzz.

Our room was quite damp because of the damp bathroom. The bed was shorter than normal, which was really too short for a tall Dutchie. Hard pillows. But overall still good value for the price!

Cute and quiet homestay in Ella, close to the city center and station. The host was really nice, would recommend!

The hospitality and a welcoming tea!

It was not possible to order additionally breakfast so it's good other restaurants are around the corner. It can be pretty noisy at night because of parties in Ella.

The host Aruna was exceptionally kind and helpful, gave excellent tips and advice for a new tourist to feel at home very quickly...the hostel room is very clean and functional, everything was there, ac, nice bed, shower, power points.... all my needs were met..its v close to town center

Nothing really to complain about....there was a bit of loud music from the discotheque down the road 11pm till 12 but its nothing major...i was very tired and slept like a log....overall v happy with my one night stay at this hostel....highly recommend

Aruna was an excellent host. He welcomed us on arrival and made sure we had everything we needed in our room. He advised on good local restaurants and events taking place in Ella. He arranged a Tut Tut to take us with luggage to the station the night before we needed it and confirmed it with us the following morning. The location was excellent, 5 minutes from the main street in Ella. The room was well equipped and clean.

The room is basic but for Ella is good value for money. Be aware the is a steep street to reach the guesthouse

It could have been a bit cleaner

Perfect location, welcoming owner who made us some tea when we arrived! Nice room and a beautiful garden 🌸

Unfortunately the fan wasn't enough for us to sleep comfortably without a/c, but we're from a cold country so it would probably be sufficient for those who are used to higher temperatures!

The location is ideal for exploring Ella, although it's not exactly quiet, as it's close to the town center. You have to decide for yourself what's more important to you. The owners are very friendly, and the seating area in the courtyard is nice.

It could be a bit cleaner, especially the sheets. But for the very reasonable price, it's nothing I'm complaining about. You just shouldn't expect too much luxury. ;)

Quiet area, comfortable bed and room, nice owners, late checkout and fantastic breakfast.

Just fyi, the street is really steep. It may be dangerous if you're driving and it's raining.

Was just here one night and was lovely. No ac but didnt really need. The bed was lovely and wide but not all too long, comfy though! Owner was very friendly:)

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Also he treated with welcome Tea and biscuits. Place is in very near to ella Town which is walkable.

Congested bathroom and no TV.

We loved this little homestay and our host Arun. He has built 2 rooms for guests which offer great value for money. A major bonus is the property is only up a slight rickety hill from the main street of Ella. Many other properties are further up the hill or around another corner and up a bigger hill.. so the location for us was great. The photo you see if the property is a lovey little garden just outside if the 2 rooms. Arun helped us organize our laundry and was always on hand to offer endless cups of tea.

The pillows were like sleeping on bricks. The room and toilet were small .. but as I said… incredible value for money.

The owner is a really nice person and gave us tips on what to visit in Ella. Location was great, really close to the main street.

The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the Main Street where there is everything you need. Aruna the owner was so friendly, he made us a delicious pot of tea when we arrived and then every day of our stay. We were there for the Sri Lankan New Year and he also prepared a lovely breakfast for us.

As it’s so near to the Main Street you could hear the karaoke bar which was quite noisy. Take earplugs and you won’t hear a thing though!

The place is really well located and on top of that the owner was super nice. Really commended this place
