  • “We had an amazing experience with Akash! He guided us on an elephant safari, a boat trip, and a night safari – and each activity was truly unforgettable. His English was excellent, far better than any other guide we’ve had so far, which made communication very easy and pleasant. He even brought a high-quality camera along. He took beautiful pictures of us and the wildlife throughout the tours and kindly shared them with us afterwards. Thanks to Akash, we had an incredible time full of special memories. We can highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and professional guide!”

“The only plus was the location of the stay, where you can get to lions rock in just over 5 mins.”

  • “Cute and quirky rooms on stilts (stairs not for the faint hearted!) Lots of wildlife (and not only on the outside! We had monkeys, frogs and a million ants in our room at various times. Wild elephants, not in the room but they do come very close to the hostel, so don't wander around at night! (We did, and we got quite a fright!) It's a lovely place to get close to nature. Friendly vibe and lots of activities. Breakfast was included (tea/coffee, omelette, toast and fruit). There were communal dinners (no menu just everyone sitting down to eat what's cooked, vegetarian option) and there were lots of activities you could do. We did an elephant safari organised by the hostel and they showed us where we could go to swim in the nearby lakes, and arranged pickup at 4:30am to climb Pidurangala rock at the crack of dawn.”
