Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHated the room! It’s dated and not at all looked like what was advertised. The lighting in the room was poor, the digital pad to order never worked, and also the ability to order via the app never worked! Upon check in, we were told that our room was upgraded. If 19A was an upgrade, then I’d hate to see what the previous room looked like. I was generally disappointed in the room especially considering what we paid to stay there, we should have received much better accommodations.
I loved the property grounds, Spa, Staff, Jammers Restaurant food, Embers breakfast buffet, the ability to book excursions and shuttle service.

United StatesOnly complaints were there were never beach towels available if we got to the beach or pool later than 1030. Also, tried to do a yoga class and it took another person waiting in the gym for the class to call front desk 3 times before we were told it was cancelled.
Loved our beautiful clean cottage. We enjoyed walking to and from it, but the free shuttle around the resort was nice too. Gorgeous beach and pools and restaurants were surprisingly good. Staff was very nice and we thought the guys running the water activities shop (kayaks, paddle boards) were great. Loved that there was a walking orientation to the resort the first morning there and appreciated the complimentary rum punch on arrival. Loved that the clientele was all ages. My kids in their 20’s loved it as much as I did. Fabulous live music every night around the pool area made the evenings feel so festive. Our resort driver told us about a great restaurant nearby called the Naked Fisherman which was delicious. Be warned that cabs anywhere on the island are expensive ($50-80 U.S. for round trip) and usually require cash.

United StatesOur Villa kitchen had tiny ants that we could not get rid of. Although the property is very beautiful, it lacks local charm.
The property was extremely luxurious and well kept. The free water sports was a great addition.

CanadaAnnoying to sign for all food and beverages when on all inclusive plan. Beach drink service was very slow, either have tons of patience or better walking short distance to the bar. Long ride from airport (true for most resorts on the island).
The food was outstanding! Special callouts - steaks at Upper Deck, snapper and sushi at Dragonfly, sea bass at Papa Dons. Beach has plenty of loungers and all have umbrellas or palapas. Water sports staff was awesome along with servers, bartenders, etc. Gym was well equipped. Room was spacious and comfortable with good AC.

United KingdomOur sun loungers outside our room were old, dirty and worn. The decking was stained. I wanted to rest here and it was horrible. This was a shame. I assume they are upgrading the rooms at some point. It looked like they were halfway through painting the outside area of our room.
The reception and beach front are excellent- newly renovated and fresh. The sun loungers are plentiful and comfortable. The staff are very helpful, on the whole. The food is great.

United KingdomAlthough we were in an all-inclusive formula we had to sign a check every time we got something from the bars and restaurants. This was pretty annoying as we have been to other all inclusive resorts before and that was never the case. Also there was an American style tipping system so at the end the bill for tips added-up to quite a bit. Being the all inclusive stay quite pricey in the first place we felt tipping was a bit unnecessary. The waiting time at restaurants was way too long. Often families brought cards or board games to the table to keep the children occupied during the long waits. The service level on the resort suffers a bit from the local culture. Although the very great majority of the staff are lovely and warm people at times they are not very professional. Also the villas and communal areas at time missed the proper maintenance, although the consierge was always quick to call the maintenance team in case we pointed out something to be repaired or replaced. There was often building noise during the mornings from repair works being carried out around the resort.
The location is gorgeous in a lovely post-card like bay. The villas are on a pretty steep hill but there are shuttles going constantly up and down and the walk down is beautiful in very well maintained gardens in case you don’t want to wait for a shuttle. The kids-club worked wanders for my 6-yo and he made lots of friends. The coaches were very sweet and caring and he loved spending time with them. There is a mega rubber slide and a jumping trampoline in the bay which is great fun for kids and adults alike. For those who want to do extra water sports there is plenty of choice at an extra cost. Although the resort was at full capacity during our stay it never felt overcrowded. The meat restaurant by far the best of all, excellent!

United KingdomInadequate storage, especially drawer space. Electric power points were faulty, hanging out of the wall and not supporting plugs. Showroom in need of refurb - visitation from two creatures through the unusual ventilation openings. Disappointed in lack of evening entertainment.
Liked the beach set up and provision of beach activities. Liked the breakfast restaurant and food choices.

United KingdomWe tried 4 of the hotel restaurants and found the quality of the meal was absolutely not reflective of the price. You’re paying >150 USD for very average unflavoured food. For decent food, be ready to leave the resort. It costs roughly 60USD (+ tip) for a return trip off the resort to the north of the island where there are the next best alternative restaurants like the Naked Fisherman.
Beautifully maintained landscaping, 24hr shuttle service from the hotel to your room because the property is spread over hills, the staff were all so attentive and friendly. Superb facilities such as a well equipped gym. Breakfast was good with an omelette and crepe station in a beautiful location on the beach. Can’t fault it other than the quality of the food on offer. If you’re into your food then be prepared to leave the resort for lunch/dinner.

United KingdomWe experienced a regular lack of communication between different services in the hotel - on a handful of occasions in the first part of our stay what we asked about/requested wasn’t provided or forthcoming. The staff were always exceptionally polite but too often it felt insincere. I would like to say that after talking with one of the managers (something we would never normally expect to have to do) they went above & beyond to both rectify our issues and ensure the ending of our stay was excellent.
We liked the location ; the range of restaurants available; being able to access day trips from the hotel; the decor & the styling of the hotel. The managers (Essey) response to our issues that arose due to”limited” staff communication between themselves - she was brilliant and rectified things for us.

United StatesThe food was overpriced and good but not great. Captive audience.
The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and I have never seen so many staff member on the premises at a hotel or resort. The breakfast choices are varied and many. It is very relaxing. There is little to do for children over 6,7 through college age. As the rooms are in the hills above the restaurants and main pool, they have a shuttle service that comes at your convenience, not theirs.
