Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI truly couldn’t find thought.
We have been to most of the Caribbean islands and St Lucia and especially Stonefield Villa resort was simply the best. The accommodation was excellent with breathtaking views of the Pitions and forest. It really is so lovely and the best views from our accommodation we’ve stayed in, matching Matera in Italy which I never thought I’d ever say. The staff made the stay perfect and really added loads to the experience, thank you really appreciate it ❤️

United StatesPrices were quite high compared to other island locations - we split time at an all-inclusive larger resort as well. Paying for a boutique feel, but the amenities do not match many of the larger or all-inclusive resorts. Paid considerably more for a comparable experience outside of the two biggest benefits: the more private villas with large pools and great views. Simple things that one would expect like a stocked mini-fridge (even if payment is necessary) or daily water bottles that are standard are not provided.
Location is phenomenal, food is great, easy to book expeditions/day trips. Friendly staff and readily available drivers. Great pool at each villa. Despite higher prices for food/drinks, the restaurant is very good and is much better quality and service than the all-inclusive options.

United KingdomAir con was quite loud, seemed a bit dated and struggled to cool the quite large villa. A Nespresso type coffee machine would be nice.
Absolutely fantastic experience. Amazing location and totally peaceful. Every member of staff was friendly, polite and attentive. The views are stunning from virtually every part of the grounds and especially from your own private pool. Although each villa has great views out, clever screening and planting has been positioned to guarantee 100% privacy once you have passed the entrance to your own villa. A nice touch was that all you needed to do to ensure your privacy was to hang a set of beads on the entrance to your villa, this guaranteed you would not be disturbed all day.

United KingdomMosquitoes out of control. Never been bitten so much. At one point felt like leaving in emergency. It is the rainy season but feel the property can take greater measures to use mosquito repellent devices. Raised with reception but they seem to be oblivious to easy potential solutions. St Lucia is very expensive for tourists - generally trying to extract Monte Carlo levels of money. Very offensive. Even so, the hotel charges eye watering amounts for very short taxi rides to other restaurants or nearby sightseeing. Only one traditional key to Villa for 4 people. Extremely slow service in the beautiful restaurant on the property. Allow 2-3 hours for each meal. They really should do something here. Very basic gym - non air conditioned making for sweaty humid workouts. Look after your belongings and lock villa front door. Wish staff, other than two or three exceptions including the manager, could make you feel much more looked after for 5 -7 star pricing. Service could be more attentive and faster.
Unbeatable setting and views of the rainforest, sea and petit piton- truly exceptional. Quiet, calming and secluded resort in general. Stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom villa. Caribbean, slightly rustic feel. Good kitchen facilities and gorgeous, clean and sizeable pool. Fabulous scrubs at the SPA. Very private and gorgeous views.

United KingdomThere is no entertainment in the evening after about 8/9pm - it’s a quiet resort. Also no TVs in the villa either. Breakfast was quite limited.
Gorgeous views from our private pool (piton view villa). The resort is peaceful and very private with lovely views over the piton and ocean. There is a small gym with a large yoga deck which was a nice feature. We ate in the restaurant on several occasions - lots of variety and well priced. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We organised several excursions through the resort, all were excellent and easy to arrange.

United StatesThe Mango Tree restaurant was in a beautiful location, but the dinner menu was not great. It just felt like a missed opportunity, but not something to consider in deciding to stay.
The location and resort are absolutely breathtaking! We rented a three-bedroom villa with a private pool which overlooked the Pitons. Simply amazing. The pool was awesome and the beds were comfortable. And we loved the outdoor shower! The restaurant on-site was convenient for meals. We liked the lunch food best!

United StatesI have no complaints but if I had a suggestion it would be that since the facility is an adult only, I wish the dinning area was also the same. People can come eat from outside the resort and that sometimes bring children.
Compared to other places we seen, this was the best for the money and location! Super private and quiet! They have something it seemed every night during dinner to really set the mood. The food was amazing! The floating pool lunches are great and we got the charcuterie board with wine on arrival and was so good! I’m a photographer and the view is EVERYTHING-we stayed in Oleander and maybe I’m biased but I’m pretty sure it IS the best view in the whole area. I got to see the sunrise but also set. As a bird lover, I had all types of birds everyday on my balcony. The outside shower was so nice! The sleeping area had a/c which was a nice surprise. Our location was close to everything you could want to do. I was overall so happy and pleased to have stayed at this place. If we visited again I would deff go here again!

Stayed at the Tamarind villa with private pool. Great ocean view with the Piton to the side. Massage at spa was wonderful. Resort arranged tours of local attractions like mud baths, Diamond Falls and Tet Paul nature walk - all within minutes drive of the resort. Staff super helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean and our outdoor area was also very spacious. The villa was private and relaxing. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with! Our room came with a cell phone we could use to call the concierge if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again!

CanadaThe beach for the resort is nice but not amazing. Shuttles should run more frequently and stonefield should provide their own beach chairs for guests rather than having them have to pay another resort to use their chairs. Service at the restaurant was hit or miss. Often had to remind servers of missing items that were ordered.
The included breakfast was the perfect amount of food and tasted great. The room and the views are unbeatable. Perfect location for excursions.
