United KingdomRoyalton is quite far from the airport, so be aware you'll need around 1hr 45min depending on traffic to transfer. Room was not as well-maintained and clean as you would expect for 5*, the bathtub had a broken seal and the full-length mirror in the room was cracked. The biggest issue is the food. My partner contracted food poisoning from one of the restaurants and after that we only ate hot food. Despite a wide selection at the buffet, the menu does get quite repetitive (and we only stayed for 8 nights). Although there are several restaurants to choose from, the cuisine isn't unfortunately 5* in any of them.
Friendly, courteous staff. Good choice of restaurants for dinner and activities to keep all ages entertained. Beach is particularly lovely, as it is an alcove exclusively for the hotel. Good fitness facilities and regular classes. Long opening times for cafe/lunch so never an issue finding a snack!

Trinidad and TobagoAs noted before, your property is well laid out with excellent amenities but for older people like me getting to my room in building 5 on the fourth floor was very demanding.
It is a beautiful property with excellent amenities but geared to a younger crowd. My husband and I are in our seventies and I’m not in the best of health and have been deaf for the past 15 years so excessive noise affects me. The loud entertainment was really geared to a younger crowd. However, the food was excellent and catered to all tastes!

Trinidad and TobagoWe could hear the persons in the room next to us at times so the rooms need to be more soundproof. Some of the food at the restaurants was quite average. The cocktails weren’t always the best either.
This resort was fantastic ! The service was exceptional and the staff was warm and welcoming at all times. The room was large and exactly as pictured and the ocean view showed a stunning view of the immaculate grounds and of course the ocean. The daily buffet breakfast was amazing and Hunter steakhouse was our favourite restaurant we went to. The Scores bar also had great wings. We also visited the spa and got massages with Sherri and Karlene which were relaxing and rejuvenating.

BarbadosThe only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the room. It smelt very moldy and damp upon entering which was very off outing since the surrounding appeared clean. We were in room 6408. Reported the issue to front desk which they quickly sent someone who sprayed the room however, the smell quickly wore off. Thankfully we were only there for two nights or I would have requested another room.

Trinidad and TobagoThe cleaning staff was great at their job, with cleaning the room excellent actually, the only issue the staff is abit loud outside the rooms when they are talking to each other, the shouting and loud phone music, but I don't want them to get in trouble for it ok. Just for future guest they can take it down abit at certain times of the day. And you guys need big fans in the lobby or those ceiling fans need to be lower, it's so hot in the lobby.

United StatesOur biggest gripe was that the room was damp with a mildew smell. There were three or four areas of white, frothy looking mold on the walls. We reported this to reception in the Diamond Club but and as of our departure the problem had not been addressed. Everything we had from clothing to paper products felt 'damp'. The Italian restaurant was a huge disappointment, from our server, to the food.
The staff were amazing. Our Butlers, Nelson and Sylvanie were top notch. The room was sizeable with a very nice shower. Housekeeping was very attentive, always leaving fresh flowers on our bed. Diamond Club pool was right off the ocean with amazing views and the staff serving drinks and food by the Diamond Club pool were attentive and super polite. The Hunter steakhouse and the Armadillo Tex Mex were very good. Would highly recommend.

The Royalton far exceeded my expectations! Based on some of the reviews I read online I was a bit nervous but my daughter and I literally had the time of our lives, it was such an AWESOME experience. The facilities are immaculate, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are phenomenal (and cute!)! I highly recommend and plan to return.

United StatesOnly two minor things. First, the food was good but not outstanding—but hey, it was free and we didn’t go for the culinary experience. Second—and it’s not related to the resort itself—the roads on St. Lucia in general are narrow and treacherous, making the car ride from the airport (located at the other end of the island) hell of an adventure. The local drivers with experience with these roads (and with driving on the left-hand side) do not always show patience to the annoyingly slow tourists like us.
Everything was at no extra charge as part of the all-inclusive package—including food and booze. The staff are awesome and exceptionally friendly. The beach was amazing. The room was supremely comfortable. The humid climate did wonders to my eczema.

I recently stayed at Royalton for five days during the Cricket World Cup, and I must say, it was an impressive experience for a fraction of the cost compared to my usual stays at Sandals resorts. The butler service provided by Nelson and Sylvanie was exceptional. Their knowledge of the sport and the local culture enriched our stay and made us even more curious about the island. They truly made our stay memorable. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the chefs at the buffet on our flight, and he went out of his way to assist with our meals whenever he was there. The highlight of our culinary experience was undoubtedly the dinner at the culinary experience and the steakhouse, both of which offered outstanding meals. The only area that fell short was the entertainment. It lacked the physical and personal touch that I’m accustomed to at Sandals, which provides a more vibrant and engaging atmosphere. However, considering the overall cost, I still found the experience to be worthwhile. Overall, Royalton provided a great stay with excellent service and dining, and I would consider returning in the future if the entertainment offerings were enhanced.

BarbadosWe had a ground floor room, there were lots of mosquitos in there and felt damp. The curtains had a strange smell. When choosing the room we wanted upon booking I choose a sea view room / pitons. We received a ground floor room unable to see the sea. The ground floor apartment pool area near the table and chairs was full of ants. The restaurants were good and the food although it took a long time for service in the steakhouse and calypso.
The staff were friendly.
