The property was absolutely stunning and the host and staff were super attentive. The air conditioning was such a comfort to combat the heat outside, meanwhile the balcony offered fresh air and green views where you could sit and even enjoy the rain. Our host provided a nice starter snack pack for us which was very thoughtful. They also recommended a lovely restaurant whose food we enjoyed so much that we ate there just about every day. The property is in decent proximity to a number of excursions/sites. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

There wasn't really a full sea view; you could just about see a section of the sea behind the foliage. However, this was somewhat immaterial for us as there was enough of a beautiful atmosphere on the grounds. Also, we had a few issues with water pressure in the shower, but the host was so helpful in trying to rectify it for us. The area was a little noisy at times but it could be due to the time of year and days we stayed.

The property was very clean and the transportation was great I had the mini bus right in front and was easy to ride into town.

The location is perfect for exploring both north and south, so we didn't have to drive for more than an hour to go where we wanted to go. The view from the balcony was lovely and we spent our evenings sipping our drinks, watching bats and listening to the wildlife. Pat, the host, was absolutely lovely and very helpful. You do need a car if you stay here, as it's not practical to walk anywhere.

It would have been good to have air con in the living area as well as the bedroom. But we liked sitting on the balcony, which was cooler.

We had an amazing stay in a very well-equipped appartment with a nice view from our balcony. Pat is a super host and organized our transfer taxi, a rental car and gave us good advices for our activities. We really enjoyed staying at this location. Thanks a lot!

Royal Excape was amazing! The location is central on the island which is great for exploring the northern or southern parts of the island and was close to restaurants and grocery stores. Pat, the hostess, met us right as we arrived. She gave us a tour of the facilities and showed us around the apartment. There was everything we could possibly need on the trip. She also had a book of recommended restaurants and things to do. The apartment was clean and the air conditioning in the bedroom was a must after spending the day on the beach. Pat checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything. We also reached out to her a few times asking her opinion on different locations and things to see around the island. She helped us with one of the tour operators when we were unable to contact them for confirmation. It was like having our own concierge! We would definitely recommend Royal Escape and if we ever make it back to St. Lucia, we will be staying there again.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay! Pat was incredibly courteous and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The parking facilities were excellent, and everything was extremely well organized. The apartment is modern, featuring a beautiful kitchen and brand new furniture. Everything was meticulously maintained and arranged, reflecting a high level of attention to detail. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Really nice appartment with all the necessary things to cook, a nice view and great outdoor space. The owner did a great job writing a book of all the things to do and see around. The warm welcome was very much appreciated!

Our stay at Royal Escape near Marigot Bay and Anse La Raye was perfect. If you’re looking for an ideal base to explore both the north and south of St. Lucia, this is the place to be. Its central location makes it easy to enjoy day trips to the breathtaking beaches and volcanic landscapes of Soufrière in the south, as well as the lively atmosphere and attractions of Rodney Bay, Castries, and Pigeon Island in the north. The apartment itself is absolutely stunning — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It features a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy lounge area, making it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor space is a highlight: there’s a barbecue area, a small but inviting pool, and a comfortable lounge area perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. One of our favorite spots was the terrace, where we could relax and watch hummingbirds flit gracefully from flower to flower — a truly magical experience. What really sets Royal Escape apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality. From the moment we arrived, Pat welcomed us with her big smile and exceptional warmth, immediately making us feel at home. She greeted us with fresh local treats, including bread, eggs, and refreshing coconut water. Pat went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering valuable advice about local restaurants, tours, taxis, and the best snorkeling spots. Her kindness and attention to detail made such a difference, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about guests’ comfort and experience. we were also greeted by her beautiful cat and kittens, whose affectionate company made our stay even more special. Evenings at Royal Escape were pure bliss. After a day of beach-hopping, trekking, or snorkeling, we loved unwinding with a cocktail in the lounge area, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere under the stars. It was the perfect way to end each day. I can’t recommend Royal Escape highly enough.

We liked that it was a quiet location with good and safe parking spots. It is easy to find, you're in nature in a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee in the balcony, very close to Marigot Bay and we appreciated it had a laundry option and kitchen basics like coffee, sugar, etc. Pat was beyond helpful and accommodating and this made all the difference. I could not recommend the place more. If you are exploring the island by car, this is an excellent location to have as a base.

I loved the place, but if I was to nit-pick, I'd like a wider bed only because I am a big guy. But honestly, it was fine.

Our host Pat was amazing. Upon arrival, not only was she there waiting for us but had left shopping in the fridge for our breakfast. 😇 She continuously checked in on us and provided local information. On our last day she prepared a St Lucian breakfast, saltfish with bakes. It was delicious and spicey. Property was exceptionally clean and modern. Had all the essential homely items. The outside pace was Fab, a pool to cool down in and a lounge to relax in. There was also a washing machine and clothes horse if you needed it.

You need a car to get around but there is nothing not to like about the property.

It’s a very nice and well equipped apartment. The pool is an added bonus. Location close to Anse la Raye is nice, too. The owner, Pat is very present and will try everything to make your stay nice. Royal escape and Royal escape-2 are all part of the same property. We chose the upper floor apartment of Escape 2 which is very nice indeed.

We had the upper floor apartment and there was hardly any hot water pressure in the shower. Even though Pat tried it wasn’t fixed during our stay. The balcony in front is very nice but the road is right in front of the property and can be noisy.

It is a beautiful property. Our apartment was very well appointed and comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need. Pat, our hostess, was very attentive and always available to help with any need. She is very kind and generous. We highly recommend staying here.

Pat the host, is simply amazing! On our visit she was there for us, assisting us with all that we wanted to accomplish. She was always available and willing to give of herself with genuine St. Lucian warmth. Indeed the experience was truly a Royal Escape.

Great location - Easy to find from the main road and also in easy reach of Marigot Bay and Anse Cochon beach. Pat is really friendly and professional and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. Studio room was great and finished to a high standard.

Not much! Fridge was a bit noisy but we unplugged it in the night but not really a problem just us being over sensitive!

Liked: host, their attentiveness and effort to make us feel welcome, informed about local events/places. The apartment has good quality, clean furniture as well equipped kitchen, lovely views from front room ( a little sea view and lots of gorgeous thick green forested area). Pat and Nathanial went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, fresh coconut water and a very thoughtful gift for my birthday. Royal Escape 2 is where we stayed and I think the best view ( top floor with long distance view of the sea). Clean bathroom, nice white sheets/towels. We loved our stay and the option of supporting a family run, local business is very important in St Lucia. Pat and Nathanial's Apartment are all good value for money. It's mid way between south and north so a good location IF you have your own vehicle ( which we did). It would be difficult and a bit isolating if you don't have your own wheels as taxis can run expensive ( if staying for more than 2-3 days). Bring your own fresh coffee from home if you like fresh coffee ( a bit pricey in SL) There is a a good coffee filter machine.

Perhaps a second fan in the open plan room as it's a large room and there is no ceiling fan. The Bedroom has AC which is really helpful to keep the mosquitos out. You can't avoid the Mosquitos- its a tropical island!

The appartement is spacious, clean, great kitchen if you want to cook some meals in oven or gasstove and has a balcony infront with nice view. Also the bed is comfortable and ensures a good night's sleep

If you are used to cooking, the variation of pans and kitchen accessories is limited

The property is modern and very tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean and tidy when we arrived. We loved the little swimming pool to help cool off after a busy day out sight seeing. For those who don’t have a car, it is conveniently right on the bus route. Pat went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect - even driving us to the supermarket on our first day and picking us up from a local restaurant so we didn’t have to walk back in the dark. She was extremely kind and thoughtful.
