How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThe grounds are nice staff was really helpful although there were many confused people in high places. Staff at the bar were fun and attentive.
No wash clothes never any towels at the pools the location says it’s adult only however they have kids on the premises as well

Property was clean but my room was the issue. On checking into the room there were no washcloths and hand towels , just 1 lotion. Called the front desk to let them know My request was taken but no avail. We checked out the next day nd those items were not delivered. The one sitter sofa in the room is fill with mildew , also the drapes and sheer curtain No waters in the fridge , shower and patio wasn’t properly cleaned. As a matter of fact Macreena the room attendant who cleaned this room did not do a good job. It felt like there this room was their last resort and was just placed in there. Room 2111 was the worst room cause I stay in a third floor room last year nd it was more welcoming. The worst part was that I was celebrating my birthday there for the 2nd time. In spite of all this I will be returning again cause I love the property.

Food Unclean room No tv - despite telling staff - nobody came to fix it. Our bath was dirty no one came to fix it. Unable to eat at restaurant due to check in time - this was our honeymoon hotel what a disappointment

Verified reviewThe staff at the buffet and cleaning crew were beyond friendly and welcoming and the aesthetic of the rooms appear nice.
So this was an ideal location for carnival but not worth cost for carnival schedule bc the food and drinks/bars availability is limited and doesn’t align. Hideaway is literally that a hideaway and the staff gave my taxi drivers major headaches and hassle to pick us up. Waited over an hour to get a cart to take us to front gate bc they refused to let them on property. Had to walk to front gate several times in rain. There was mold on the decorative pillows in my bed and every night it seems also in the ac vents we’d start coughing. It looks pretty. The elevators were a hit or miss. It’s a hassle to get reservations at the restaurants. It was ok but I’d not go back.

Room was not clean, blood prints on tub and bed , things were left in balcony area . We want to celebrate anniversary, provided birthday card with balloons, was not able to sleep in bed due to the blood. I would like to be compensated for this traumatic evening, We were seen by a supervisor, and nothing was done.

The front guest staff was rude. I initially booked a two bed room. The staff was not accommodating to changing the room and provided no additional options or accommodations. The room was never changed. Food was subpar and they often ran out of food and drinks. The elevator was broken. The worst of any all inclusive I have vacationed with.

Verified reviewThe staff really made this trip fun! Felt like family, namely my new "cousins" Sam from the hype team and Sephra from the front desk! There was one other young lady who was great and taught us dance but I can't remember her name. Aside from that, we did enjoy ourselves! The place is clean. So they are definitely great in customer service
One issue we did have is that we had a hard time getting wash cloths and towels. There were 4 of us, and they kept giving us 2 and 3 towels. Lastly, the food was pretty disappointing. Some things overcooked, some things undercooked. It definitely needs improvement

Verified reviewThe boutique staff were very friendly and the Buffet staff. Those two places made my experience somewhat decent. Veronica from housekeeping was amazing!
The customer service overall needs major improvements. The food supply was subpar and lots of choices were not available during most of the stay.

Well, got there gave me a room that was occupied, then after a while waiting assigned a different room. When you open the door it smelled of damp and had this strong mouldy smell. The sheets had stains on them. Had to wait a good 45mins and with a push I got another room and was told need to be at reception at 10:30 to see whether or not I’ll be able to keep that room or need to be placed in a different one which would be ready at 2:30. In the end with a push and I told them I will leave and ask for a refund, I was told I can keep the room for the duration of the trip. The room could and hotel could do with a freshen up. No drinks in mini bar no water in room that night and room service do not serve you drinks as well as rubbish food choices. All and all not what I expected from an all inclusive and especially the price you’re paying.

The food was good but not great. Some of the staff were great while others seemed to be putting their time in. The place showed some wear for example- water closet door in room had no handle or latch and door would not stay closed.

Standard of our Presidential Suite was poor. Curtains falling off their tracks at each end. Air/con freezing even thought it was adjusted. No attention to details. It took them two days to get a tie belt for the dressing gown which we had to ring down for on arrival. One of the sofas which presumably doubled as a sofa bed, stank of urine.
