Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our stay at Greenhouse on the Hill, in Laborie was amazing. The apartment was fabulous, bright and airy, with high ceilings, it was well furnished, with a very comfortable king size bed. The views are stunning, there's a private balcony where you can sit, with clear views of the sea, beyond the village. The garden is full of tropical plants & fruit trees. The apartment is well equipped, if you want to self cater. The local resturants offer authentic Saint Lucian food at resonable prices. The hosts Ellen and John were incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this accommodation.

United KingdomThe greenhouse on the hill had everything we needed and you could tell it was well thought out. We spent time relaxing on the balcony enjoying the warm sun and gentle breeze. We had stunning views of the quaint fishing village of Laborie which was a short walk down the hill. The village had a lovely energy about it. We particularly liked having a drink at the fisherman’s bar and enjoyed a meal at mama tillies. We also loved cafe en ville which had amazing food and cocktails! Ellen and John were fantastic hosts and made us feel at home. They offered to collect us from the airport and even showed us round the village when we arrived pointing out the above places! As we arrived on a Sunday when the shops were closed, Ellen kindly offered to pick us up some supplies which we were very grateful of. Upon arriving we also had a bowl of seasonal fruits from the garden which was not only a lovely offering but super yummy too! We would be back in a heart beat to visit Laborie and stay with Ellen and John. They had lots of information on the local area and things to see and do. They also managed to organise a snorkelling boat trip for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much for making our stay a memorable one.

FranceWe had a great stay in Ellen and John's Green House. The apartment is ideally located in the southern sector, in the charming village of Laborie. There are quite a few activities to do in the surrounding area. The apartment is very clean and very comfortable, all the equipment is available to make you feel good. It has a balcony with a wonderful view of the sea and Laborie. Ellen is very caring and kind. She always made herself available if needed and gave very good advice on things to do. She also took care of booking a restaurant for us. I recommend 100%!!

Everything, the apartment is very clean and spacious, has everything we needed. the balcony has an amazing view to the sea and the town, and great sunset views. Ellen and John were such great hosts. They helped us with everything that we needed. the village has lots of shops and restaurants and bars to shoose from. the beach is only 10-15min walk from the apartment, and it's a nice walk, and the beach is amazing, not busy and clean. the locals are very nice and kind. we would definitely stay here again :)

We really liked John and Ellen. She met us right in the driveway when we arrived knowing we were driving in a different country on the wrong side of the road and were a little lost. We were so happy to see her smiling face! They were the kindest hosts in every way; friendly, helpful with directions, suggestions, bookings and anything else we needed. They were always available to answer questions. They booked us a catamaran snorkeling trip which was great. One night we went to the street dance with them. We were old enough to be their parents but they treated us as friends. However, you were afforded all the privacy you needed. It's a beautiful view up there and I felt very safe. The place is clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the nice shower and of course the lanai or porch. I would suggest a car or a driver to see the surrounding sights. Soufriere, where a lot of activities were located was about a 40 minute drive. We would stay with them again!

CanadaCan’t think of a thing. We had a car so getting around was not an issue.
The view was beautiful. Up on the hill you can see both sides of the bay. The host (Ellen and John) were there if needed. Their booklet was very comprehensive, I took pictures of it in case I needed to refer to it for times the stores were open or for things to do. The suite was well stocked.

AustriaEverything was great! Just be aware that the apartment is not in the city center but you have to walk uphill about 15 minutes.
The Apartment is very comfy. Very comfortable bed, nice balcony with a great view and a well equipped kitchen. Ellen and John are very nice and helped us whenever we had a question- even before we arrived (as it was over Christmas and shops were closed). Laborie is very nice, people are friendly and the beach is nice.
