How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewI absolutely loved my 4-night stay at this hotel! The service from the staff was excellent—warm, attentive, and always helpful. The restaurant team was especially brilliant, and the food was nothing short of amazing. The swimming pool offers the most breathtaking views of the Pitons—simply unforgettable. Their rum punch? Strong and delicious! The hotel also offers a variety of tours, a free daily shuttle, and complimentary yoga sessions every other day, which is perfect for travelers looking to relax or explore. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.
I did get a few mosquito bites, but the staff kindly provided fresh aloe to help soothe them—such a thoughtful touch!

I usually don't complain, but this was terrible. Food options for lunch and dinner are limited and if you plan to stay more than 2 days good luck with that. The room has no A/C and no windows. It looks more like an open air hut. Hard to even explain it. That means you can hear everything outside from animal sounds to music and traffic (even if they do provide earplugs they do not help). On top of that the room is filled with mosquitos and the bed has a mosquito cover on it, plus they give you one anti mosquito spray which lasts like 3 days max for 2 adults and even with that you get badly bitten. I have the most bites in all my tropical trips, even when using 2 extra of our own bug repellent. The pool is a joke, barely fits one adult person to swim in it, while having a nice view of the Piton. I would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. As well the sheets didn't seem to be cleaned on a regular basis.

Verified reviewThe Rabot Hotel is an experience for sure! You feel (and probably are) in the middle of the rainforest, with the best view there is of the Petit Piton. The little cabins are very picturesque, of good size, and with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has good food and the views, again. And the infinity pool is amazing. There are many activities offered by the hotel, e.g. free morning yoga, cacao tour
I should have read the description better, but because of the open room concept of the cabins, there is no AC. It wasn't terrible without, but as I like to sleep cold, it wasn't the best night. I would do it again for a short stay, but I don't think I would do a long stay without AC.

Very little to not like about it. As they advertise, it can get quite noisy at night through the insects and birds, but you get used to that pretty quickly.

Rooms very basic for the cost - few toiletries, demanded old water bottles before giving new ones. Staff at reception poor. Confirmed dinner reservation but it was not done. Confirmed chocolate tour and reception seemed to have no knowledge of it when we turned up. Had to book bag pickup twice. Dinner food was poor and we did not finish it (or eat dinner again in the hotel)

Verified reviewWe were in a Luxe Cottage, located at the top of the hill, which was tough on the calves and achiles, but we chose to take the workout and not to get a buggy ride up every time. The view of the Petit Piton from the balcony was stunning. If you want the view you have to choose the room carefully as some are blocked by the restaurant building. Room was light, airy and well appointed. Breakfasts were very good, with a plate of fresh fruit and the food choice was different (local and trad choices) , tasty and beautifully presented. The view of the Petit Piton from the dining room was stunning. The staff were almost exclusively wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun. The estate is large, you can take an easy hike through the beautiful grounds up to Project Chocolat where there is a bar and cafe on hand to refresh yourself.
Staffing at the pool bar was a bit hit and miss at times, ie towels sometimes not available and water not immediately on hand, but it was no big deal and the infinity pool was very welcome.

The open space where bugs could get in. The sound of nature didnt let me sleep well. However...I needed to experience it to know I dont like it. Kind of like luxury camping. Not the hotels fault...I knew it was an open room before booking.

The staff super friendly and accommodating even after our stay, as our flight was delayed for more than 24hours, we came back to the hotel at 4am and we were welcome to rest in a cabin free of charge.
