The clientele weren't very social, at all. Staff generally were friendly, but not always.

Rooms were nice, the view was beautiful, and the AC worked very well! I enjoyed the pool bar area. Food was good too!

You could not walk anywhere . It is up a hill - more isolated but this may be true for other resorts there on the beach as they were far from each other . There was a courtesy bus to Vigie beach ( 10 mins max ) and Castries - no problem booking and driver picked up when you wanted . We hired a car The roads are steep and lots of potholes but we managed and allowed us to visit other places when we wanted

Lovely views on hillside The staff were so helpful , friendly without being intrusive and went above and beyond . It was calm , small and people staying within the hotel chatted to each other . Choice of poolside snack bar . A la carte and buffet . Sitting outside on the veranda with the views and having food on the evening just so lovely The food was good and the buffet and a la carte menu changed daily My husband loved the omelettes cooked as required every morning and no queuing The cocktails all made freshly and decorated and so delicious . No queues for anything ! Towel policy - you got a new one and put in a bin when finished / wet / dirty anc you got a new one . No fuss . No deposit ( I always thought with other hotels - why a towel deposit - who seriously wants to take a towel home !?!?!!) Amazing good value Hotel was ? 78% full - lots of sunbeds every day - no one needed to reserve them / at both pools or at the beach ( courtesy bus )

There were quite a lot of steps to get around the property, which might be challenging for some guests. I was also surprised by a room service charge that wasn’t mentioned until arrival. Lastly, the pool area could use more than one bartender to help speed up service.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bel Jou. My room was always spotless, the self-service bar by the pool was so convenient for grabbing a refill before heading out, and the buffet had so many great options — breakfast was especially my favorite. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made the experience even better.

Self service bar by the 2nd pool is fabulous. Breakfast and dinner switch up and they’re very good, the cafe has great food as well. All the staff are very friendly. Untapped rum punch. This is an eating and drinking hotel 100%. Huge comfortable suites with a nice patio and great bathroom. I recommend anyone stay for the weekend at least. Great views.

They were always ready to assist, ensuring that every aspect of our vacation was perfect.The hotel boasts several pools, daily activities such as yoga, pilates, water sports, lively parties, and entertainment that kept us engaged and relaxed throughout our stay. The spa is simply fantastic—my massage was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.All meals are included, with a variety of fresh dishes served at multiple on-site restaurants catering to every taste. We enjoyed unlimited drinks and appreciated the cozy coffee shop where freshly brewed coffee was available all day long. Our spacious room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle every hour to the most beautiful beach with pristine waters and stunning views. Guests have access to free sunbeds on the beach, making it easy to relax and soak up the sun. There’s also a complimentary shuttle to the city center for exploring nearby attractions. The breathtaking scenery, wonderful staff, full relaxation, delicious food, sea, and sunshine made our experience truly special. The staff were very friendly and the resort is kept very clean including pools, patio areas etc. There are various options for food that change daily and the quality is good. The shuttle bus to the beach and town is handy likewise booking private tours was also hassle free.

There's not much i didn't like. The restaurant gets booked very quickly due to limited space, so throughout my stay, I wasn't able to dine there.

The property was on a hill and not so easy to just walk about, however they did have a shuttle bus that took you to the beach and town but you really need to venture out to relax on the nicer beach

Overall the property is a bit tired, with various broken tiles, shower cubicle not suitable/broken. In need of an upgrade/renovation.

Location was good allowing for a nice breeze and views. Lower swimming was very enjoyable.

The beds. I can’t speak for all the rooms but I had an ocean view, two Queen room and the mattress was box spring trash. I was only there 2 nights so it was bearable. They need to upgrade to memory foam and this place will be a 10/10.

Just about everything including the staff, the staff are warm and friendly, by far the best thing about Bel Jou. I thought the buffet food was also solid. The snack stand made the best frozen painkillers!! The NYE entertainment and party was fun, great fireworks. Just a real chill easy going vibe.
