How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

I had an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff, always going the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with everything I could have asked for. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was spotless with all the essentials, including hot water that never ran out. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to stay connected. Overall, Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort and quality!

The room is spotless clean. Place is spacious and very comfortable. Bed is very comfortable. Amenities like the toilets and sinks are very clean. The desk manager Stephanie is one of her kind. She is very helpful and always ready to give your suggestions for best places and attractions.

It was great experience I had a wonderful night at hotello the hotel cozy and very clean , what can I say about the breakfast delicious Lebanese breakfast . also I would like would like say thanks to Stephany she’s the most welcoming person I ever met . really recommended hotello one more time thanks for all hotello management.

Property was clean and miss Stephany was very welcoming and followed up on everything. Highly recommended calm well organised and generous breakfast. Excellent location 2min from highway and 5min from jounieh souk.

Coming from an Arab country, we wished there was a bidet, other than that the place was perfectly clean
HOtello was an amazing experience! We felt like home, and the team is extremely friendly and lovable. They did their absolute best to serve us, provide a taxi for us and make sure everything is settled and that we are comfortable. We are definitely planning to come here again next time we're in Lebanon, given the great experience and the very reasonable prices. Special thanks Stephany, Jebril and Abou Salah :))!

I would have preferred if there was a shataf (شطاف) in the bathroom for added convenience.
During my stay at Hotello Guset Suites, I had an incredible experience. The attention to detail and the level of service were exceptional. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean. The staff were accommodating and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was tasty, and I truly appreciated the value for the price paid. I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff for their excellent service throughout my stay. I highly recommend Hotello Guset Suites for anyone looking for a remarkable and memorable stay.

Actually, I liked everything in this hotel.
everything was exceptional. From the first day, I got a special treatment from Mrs. Stefani (owner) and the staff of the hotel. They were very amazing. Electricity is available for 24 hours, everyday cleaning, the breakfast was amazing and delicious with different kinds of food. They even doing laundry for free. They even didn't let me pay immediately when I reached to the hotel. They waited until I got my suite and arranged my stuff. you can't find such a treatment in any other hotel.

Although provided by simple request, a few bags of Tea , coffee and sugar would complement the more than adequate little kitchen with it electric kettle , fridge and even microwave oven. If I may suggest a better and clearer address / or directions on the website maybe coupled with a little map / directions of the Hotello guest suites and surrounding area to give to drivers to the suites. Hope one day Lebanon economy get better and once again allow payments by Visa or similar major Cards.
very friendly and very accommodating staff no matter the query or request, bed done, towels replaced daily, room cleaned. bathroom toiletries amply provided, great help in providing transport from an to hotel. Electrical power was only disconnected for a matter of less than 2 minutes, which by itself is a great plus for Beirut which as continuous and frequent power disconnections. Ideal location to many touristic sites neaby. I would not hesitate in recommending Hotello Guest suites to all visitors, Thanks Stephanie and staff.

No breakfast area but the owner explained to us the reason why she no longer offers it. It has to do with the current inflation and currency devaluation.
The rooms are spacious and they have pretty much everything you might need including A/C. Also, even though it’s located next to a highway, the inside is very quiet. I was worried about that going in but it was not an issue at all. Location is very central.
