How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

it surely needs renovation, but for the price we paid its a great deal
the room is spacious considering we are three adults, value for money. the staff are very helpful and very nice. thanks to Weam, Rami, Mohammed & Ahmad, also thanks to the valet guys who were also very nice Omar, & Ayoub

Exceptional stay, amazing from A to Z. Very clean and modern hotel, everything was perfect. Special thanks to Mohammed, Rami, Ahmad, and Weam from front office very hospitable and friendly professional service. Bellmen were very helpful and quick as well.

I had such a great experience this time! Huge thanks to Mohamed and Ahmed from the front office especially Mohamed who was super kind and completely changed my previous bad experience. He really made me change my mind about the place and now I’m excited to come back to the country again! I hope Mohamed keeps using this amazing approach with guests because it truly makes a big difference

The staff were very friendly and helpful, they were kind to adjust our bed setting from 2 single beds to one double bed as I wasnt able to do so through the online booking. The room and toilet were clean. There is a parking under the building for the hotel and the guy there was very friendly and helpful as well. The hotel is in the middle of Hamra and a close walking distance to bliss street, many restaurants, fast food chains and supermarkets near by. I would highly recommend it.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible experience I had during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone I interacted with, esp the front desk team ,the room was spotless and beautiful arranged cozy , clean and relax . I truly appreciate everything A special thanks to mr ahmad for his customer service and the entire team they made me feel welcomed and well taken care throughout my stay . I am a frequent client and I always stay at El Sheikh Suit I would like if you can work better at the hotel Wifi, room keys not working from first attempt, the communication between all reception staff. For example I added an extra night and informed Mohammad at the reception desk I kept receiving phone calls to my room waking me up just to make sure I was staying an extra night which I didn’t really like.
The location is perfect and it feels like home the suit I stayed at had a decoration that made it feel like home.

Staff were exceptionally professional and polite. Accommodated earlier check in. Suite for a family of 5 was very spacious and clean with all amenities. The hotel is in a good area and within close distance to restaurants and sightseeing. Valet parking available.

Everything was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from the valet team to housekeeping. Their service was impressively fast and efficient. This is truly one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had. The attention to detail, warm attitude, and quick response to any request made my stay exceptional. Highly recommended!

Kitchen is not equipped with any utensils
We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff kindly upgraded our room upon check-in, which was a lovely gesture. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The team was always friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better—just a couple of minutes’ walk to Hamra Street with plenty of shops and restaurants around. Having free parking in such a busy area was a big plus. Would definitely stay here again!
