It’s a lovely place with a very kind counter manager. It’s a peaceful and quiet accommodation. Very easy to reach food or cafe.

Location on the river bank, looking onto the mountain. Room had full height glass doors to maximise the view. Lovely terrace to enjoy you breakfast. Helpful staff, and calm atmosphere.

Very new and clean. The balcony is very nice with a great view. The guy at the reception is soooo friendly and helpful! Great value!

I loved having the delicious breakfast sitting on the deck in the morning. The man who was on 'reception' was absolutely amazing. One day he drove me on his motorbike into the township. Any request I had wasn't a problem. He also followed up to make sure everything was fine. Loved this place. Great AC too

was a little far from some walks but the accommodation was worth a little extra walk.

The river huts location was perfect, right on the river with an amazing view. The rooms were quite basic but very comfortable and the staff working there were lovely.

If I could rate this stay 11/10, I would. The location is perfect, with all restaurants within walking distance. The view of the mountains and river is beautiful. The room itself is clean, with great AC, the comfiest beds I have slept in in South East Asia, and a lovely modern bathroom. The breakfast, which gets delivered to your door, is delicious. Plus the staff are sweet and very attentive! 100% recommend staying here.

Not the property’s fault but be careful walking home late at night, as the area has a lot of stray dogs which may growl at you and/or chase you.

There were many ants in our room. I think this is common for the location, but it’s worth noting. Same goes for the location as the neighbor is a bar playing very loud music. I definitely think that it is good for the locals to have place to go out, but I think a solution could be found so tourist can also enjoy a quiet stay in the nature :)

Fantastic location off the Main Street and overlooking the river. Delicious breakfast served to your room to eat on the terrace, in tiffin trays. Such helpful staff, especially Grant who went out of his way to assist us when our bus didn’t show up.

Booked a two night stay in Room 1 but ended up being one night for following reasons:. Noise from neighbouring club really ruins the tranquility and peace. Reported to staff who appeared to know about it already. Door to balcony didn’t close properly and so many bugs include gecko came into room overnight. Reported to the reception staff who tried to assist. Nam Ou Villa accommodation next door was superb.

The huts were clean and stylish with an efficient AC, and the surroundings were beautiful. Furthermore, the host, Kan, was just amazing: he went to lenghts to make the customers happy - I even got to use a bicycle for free for the 3 days I stayed in the River. Huts. I had a wonderful stay in Nong Khiaw and can truly recommend the River Huts for everybody!

It was spacious and light. But most of all the view and garden! Also cute to have some cosy nightlights/reading lights. Bed was comfortable and the (rain)shower was really nice.

Some hangers to put on your clothes would have been useful, a bit more storage space in general (-: And I was very happy with tea and coffee we got as well, but I would prefer to have some local tea/coffee instead of big company brands.

Great position on the river. Lovely deck to watch the river and boats, great view! Very comfortable bed and great shower. With a few small additions (bedside lamps, few rugs on the floor, better breakfast, had coffee but no tea) it would be much nicer.

Breakfast is aimed as an Asian cuisine, which is strange as I’d think mainly western people would stay here, our 1st morning cold fried rice and spring rolls were inedible to us. There’s the option of toast from the front desk but that’s not enough for the price paid. The curtains don’t block out much morning light.

Beautiful location on the river with mountain views. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Welcoming staff who were very friendly. Good proximity to restaurants. Nice breakfast.

Minor things - hand towel and soap needed for the sink. Additional water and toilet paper would be good on the second day. The noise from nearby construction and local restaurant with loud music does disrupt the tranquil environment though this is not the fault of this lovely accommodation.

Stunning property just by the river, everything is brand new and perfectly clean. The staff was so kind, offering to clean my room whenever I needed, always welcoming me with a smile. I had to extend my stay for another few nights cause it was so perfect. It’s located quite centrally, very close to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was really delicious and you can ask for toast with jam, coffee, tea and water at reception. I would stay here again!

The bungalow is so cute! We also enjoyed the breakfast which is brought to the room in small containers. You can get coffee, toast and jam at the reception as well. The staff is really nice 😊 We did a hike that turned out to be quite dangerous, so I texted the owner at some point that we were on that hike, so that somebody would know where we were. He informed somebody at his other hotel close to the trailhead to look out for us, which they did. He stayed in contact with us to make sure we would come back safely. Thank you very much for the care!

Amazing view and super friendly host! Breakfast was also great: tasty and different every day. Comfortable beds, good shower, nice furniture and clean room.

The speed of wi-fi connection could be better. And I don’t like when the shower isn’t separated so the floor in the bathroom is always wet
