Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyRestaurant maybe needs a bit more attention. Staff doesn't seem to be well trained on English speaking customers, but overall was pleasant. There were few guests so breakfast was a la carte and was yummy. The half board menu for dinner is pretty limited, so you'll end up choosing from the a la carte which is quite pricey.
Hotel is wonderful! Many compliments to the landascapers and designers because i've never seen anything like that. The pool areas and amazing and to overlook the rice fields is a real wonderful experience. The room was awesome, so big, a huge bathroom, all the amenities.

BelgiumSlightly disappointed tbh with the food at dinner, much as we ate half board every night and they were flexible on choices...food was abit bland with exceptions of soup and funnily enough, western dishes. We had to ask for mango, even if it's widely available...can improve here, but still we loved it. A bit of flexibility on shuttle times would be a small improvement
Wonderful grounds, well-kept and beautiful scenery. The rooms were large, with stunning views across Rice fields and beyond. Large bathroom, bath, shower all super clean. Good bed, silent aircon and the staff super well trained and friendly. Rhee at breakfast, and Mina at reception deserve special mention. Pools were emoty, off-season , and clean, well maintained, and with delightful views Slightly out of town but free shuttles. Highly recommended

VietnamGetting a bit dated, quite of a lot of things starting to not work and are quite worn, including the shower and bath taps which only had trickles of boiling water many times, meant we had to call technicians many times to be able to shower. Limited English of some staff made it a bit hard to communicate certain needs (although know we are in a different country so do have some sympathy). Service was always pretty slow.
Very peaceful, perfect for having young children with swimming pools, terrace / balconies for the evening after they sleep, organic farm and animals and a bit out of town so feel like you’re in nature. Free shuttle was quite regular.

Lovely room and beautiful complex. Just stunning. A little bit further out than other hotels but the free shuttle to and from the main centre meant this was no issue, was a short trip. Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond.

JapanHowever, we noticed a very clear decline in customer care standards since the last time we visited. Arrival welcome was rather poor, staff often did not greet us when they met us, and the send-off was also sub-standard. Often the reception did not pick up the phone. This is not really acceptable for this price and level. I think the main problem here is at the managerial level: we never met the manager, and it was clear that in comparison to 5 years ago there has been a visible decline in standards. Back then (2019), there was a very active French manager who would go around the resort checking that everything was good. This time, we haven't even met the manager. So we would recommend a new manager to this place because all staff are nice but often did not know what to do and were a little lost. Accor group, put your acts together, because this is a lovely resort and deserves to be run properly.
We returned to this resort after five years, and overall, we were not disappointed. The location is amazing and whoever designed this resort, knew what they were doing. It's the best place to relax and unwind - one of the best for doing so I have ever found. The hotel restaurant is also great as well as reasonably priced. So, overall, we were very happy and will return.

Hong KongStaff are very responsive and proactive. The private pool is the biggest private pool I’ve ever seen in a resort hotel. It’s relaxing to swim in the private pool with the sun during day time, the stars during night time, and the beautiful sunset. Cute cats.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is a little outdated, and certain elements, notably the decoration and isolation of the windows, could be refurbished. However, everything works perfectly well and offers great comfort. I found the lighting system very complicated :-)
Magnificent hotel with sumptuous decor, especially at sunrise and sunset. Offers a truly relaxing moment of calm. The whole team is welcoming, friendly and very attentive. We received all the help we needed to organize various excursions. The hotel is quiet but also a little out of the city center: a shuttle service is available, but you have to keep to the timetable. The service was very punctual and much appreciated. Great choice for the breakfast buffet, large fitness and nice pool.

United StatesIf this is your first visit, the distance to Luang Prabang old town is an important consideration, as the hotel free shuttle sticks to a tight and limited schedule, and it's not easy to call a taxi or tuktuk from the hotel. During our stay, no shuttle left before 10am and there's no shuttle at 1pm. You also have to reserve in advance during busy season as there are limited seats. If you want to leave and come back to the hotel and there's no shuttle, you have to hail a tuktuk (which is fine— it's just that the shuttle is a nice amenity and we wish it ran more frequently or flexibly). At various points the hotel seemed a bit short-staffed and there was a wait at the front desk during check-in/check-out periods while people were trying to catch shuttles. The staff seemed very capable but given the volume of guests it would have been nice to have ~2 more staff at the front desk.
Really beautiful property and comfortable rooms. Delicious restaurant food and kind staff. Views at the hotel are really nice and it is super quiet, great for a retreat. Staff arranged rides to/from airport and also to Kuang Si falls, all very smooth and easy. We chose this hotel because higher-end places within LPB old town are limited and some are really expensive— especially for the size/condition of the facility. Pullman definitely offers amazing value with regard to comfort and quality (rooms, pools, dining, gardens, places to relax).

United StatesThe room was so dark we had to use our phone flashlights to find things in the closet, and the hotel didn’t have enough hot water to ensure a hot shower or bath. For the price, this was a disappointment.
The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the staff was very helpful. The shuttle to and from the town was excellent. The spa was also wonderful.

United Arab EmiratesWe went to this hotel in december. Unfortunately the swimming-pools are not heated, so it was not possible to use them (water too cold). We stay one week and sheets from bed never have been changed.
Staff very friendly and attentive to our requests. Hotel really big and peacefully, with many green areas (rice fiels) everywhere. Nice views from mountains. Quiet place and relaxing for a few days. Free shuttle to go to city (transportation to city takes around 10 minutes only). Good breakfast and very good restaurant.

VietnamThe hotel is amazing ! Our only gripe was when we opted for the Christmas Eve set dinner and it was quite disappointing. The dishes, while they looked incredible, were prepared in advance so came out lukewarm and were mostly quite bland.
The Pullman was a really impressive site boasting fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The room was very comfortable and well designed. Staff were welcoming and helpful with all our needs.
