Tv didn't work. Shower water pressure was poor.

The view from the top floor balcony was fantastic. Great location - close to eateries and a big supermarket and not far from the centre. Beautiful wooden floors. Filtered water comes in refilled glass bottles, not plastic. Sustainably packaged toiletries.

Location was fantastic. Nice and quiet down a small lane way. Easy walking distance of attractions, cafe's and restaurants. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, loved the hot bread with it. Everything was clean and tidy.

Lovely to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view of the Mekong and mountains. Air conditioning is powerful.

You were allowed to smoke on the balcony meaning smoke wafted into our room ( we’re both non smokers)

The rooms were lovely and spacious. The pool and breakfast were lovely.

The pictures of the property were very good. They didn’t quite match what we experienced. Construction was going on nearby but that wasn’t a huge issue. The pool and deck needed some tender loving care. We also found a used banana flavoured container of viagra and a bottle of empty beer on the shelf in the room. The room was clean besides that. You get a free breakfast…don’t eat it. Take my word for it …or go for it! Please note there are dozens of places called Riverside this or that make sure your mini van driver knows where he is going …we spent a good hour trying to find it ….but it was just part of travelling…. They also needed to pay attention to cleanjng up the dishes so dogs didn’t jump up! There was a new kitten to love let’s hope he stays hydrated… And although we liked this side of town the Old Town is probably suited better for us …

Good location, comfortable room with a good shower. Pool was very nice. Rooms had quite a lot of flies and ants but can’t be helped sometimes. Staff were nice, and breakfast ok, although the food also had ants in it. Also wouldn’t recommend booking buses through them though as our bus to the next place was awful!

We were told to “just wait” for hot water to arrive in the shower, but alas, after repeated attempts at running the water, hot water never did arrive.

A lovely, green setting back from the busy main road. Our room was clean and comfortable with a spacious balcony overlooking one of two pools. Set menu breakfast presented a good variety of Western-style options. Staff arranged taxi transport to the train station.

The location was perfect - central (5 minutes from the excellent night market) but down a small side street so not noisy** Reception staff awesome - they could not have done more, even down to interrupting them when off duty to book a trip for me! Really anything would be done to accommodate. Thanks to all the staff. Facilities great - two swimming pools! Ask for room(s) with a balcony - much nicer to wake up in the morning and have a coffee outside your room. **The easiest way to find the hotel is to get to the “Redbull” bar and go down the street to the right (facing the bar entrance). A short way down the street there is a sign for the hotel and indicting to turn right - just follow the small road round to the left and down and you’ll get to the hotel.

All staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more attentive except the guy that works nights. We checked in late so he was in charge of our check in. He didn’t ask for our names and seemed extremely high taking us to a room saying I think this might be it. No. Yes. No and decided on yes. We had a small issue with are washing so we’re asked to come back at 9pm and the night guy would give it to us. Couldn’t fault the man helping us during the day but when going back to get our washing the night guy said it was with another company and he would have it for the morning - we were leaving at 8am. Made a fake phone call saying it was be 15 mins. Turned his phone off and pretended it died. He was also high with another guest. He said his name was ‘Tea’. When walking back to the street we saw all are washing still in the dryer in the hotel and my partner just took it out and brought it back to our room letting the guy know we had it.

Excellent breakfast and great location. Staff on during the day were lovely!

On one or two days, kitchen staff was overwhelmed due to many guests ordering breakfast at the same time. A suggestion is to have designated peak and non-peak breakfast hours. During peak breakfast hours - serve only a fixed breakfast meal (say Continental or British/American) with no orders for pancakes etc. Then for non-peak breakfast hours, allow for orders for pancakes etc. Maybe change to coffee maker to something that does not need constant replenishing so quickly. Signage to and from the hotel location from main road could be improved.

Location was good even if slightly tucked away. Quiet and peaceful except for embankment works (moving of rocks). Nearby there looks like a brand new night entertainment venue. Concern about possible future noise impact this might bring. New venue by the river might be a plus for those who like drinking outdoors along the riverbank in the evening.
