Comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the Mekong River. Delicious breakfast also with a view of the Mekong River. Charming hotel in beautiful Luang Prabang. Charming receptionist with exceptional beauty :) A unique place!

This is a great place to stay in Luang Prabang. Our balcony overlooked the Mekong. An absolutely amazing view. The room and the whole hotel has a 'heritage' feel. The woodwork in the room is just beautiful. There is a waterfall shower with plenty of hot water. The room has lots of outlets. The wifi worked great. Our included breakfast was excellent, I especially enjoyed the banana pancakes. The woman who manages the hotel really went out of her way to make us feel at home. There's a little restaurant/convenience store just next door, which was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. Luang Prabang itself is a unique place. It's perfect for walking and bike riding. The whole place has a historic vibe. The morning and evening markets are both a lot of fun. So this is a unique and relaxing destination, and the Mekong Charm River View is where you want to stay.

We stayed two nights at Mekong Charm. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Amazing air conditioning during the hot season. Solid breakfast and the most amazing staff. The hotel manager, Ms. Lynn, was absolutely incredible in making our two days in Luang Prabang fun and memorable. She offered us recommendations for things to do and places to eat, set up our train and transport, and was so pleasant and accommodating to work with. Everything she recommended was spot on. I highly recommend this place!

Nothing everything was great.

Very nice location next to the Mekong. Also two minutes walk to the main street. The host was speaking english, and was very kind and accomodating (helped us with buying train tickets for example). The rooms were clean and a nice bed. The room is cleaned daily with fresh towels. They have a small menu for breakfast including eggs, pancakes, fruit with yogurt. We came back for a second time when we stopped by Luang Prabang!

This is a very nice and comfy place to stay, very friendly and helpful, and we would particularly emphasize the helpfulness of Ms. Lynn, the manager, and her assistant and night watch, Thong - all being very kind people. The location of the hotel is very good and quite, off the Main Street but within short walk to many smaller and good restaurants

The hotel is not a 4 star hotel. May be a 2 star with basic services. Breakfast was just ok. Room had issues with the TV and AC that started leaking. You are supposed to remove your shoes before entering the property but the hotel does not provide sleepers and other customers took our own. We had to dispose them

Lynn welcomed us with a smile and made sure that our stay was everything we could have asked for. She explained what there was to do in the area as well as the history and restaurants to go to which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The manager was delightful. She cares about people and gave good recommendations, as well as made a wonderful breakfast.

Pay attention and be careful on the stairs; I was handling my bag and slipped and fell because of wearing socks. But we loved the place!

Great location, big rooms, comfy bed, wonderful staff

The staff was so friendly and helpful more than I’ve ever seen from a hotel especially in this price range. The view is great and there are plenty of cafes around. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the Main Street

I loved this place and feel so lucky to have found it. As a solo traveler, i found this whole place charming, welcoming and supportive. Lynn was such an amazing host and she really made the stay. She is so welcoming. The room was great, she had kindly upgraded me to the river view, what with it being the low season, which was very kind of her and i loved waking up and seeing the river or sitting on the terrace at night. It was incredibly peaceful there. Breakfast was delicious and very filling and even as a vegetarian there were choices for me. I took advantage of their low season offer of a free sunset cruise if you stay two nights. The river cruise was a highlight of my trip, it was a perfect way to spend an evening and so relaxed. Lynn also helped with the booking of my train tickets which was a huge help as it was a big nerve wracking wondering if you would get tickets or not! She helped organise the transport back to the train station at the end of my stay too. Basically, she was incredibly accommodating and you can tell she enjoys meeting all her guests. The location was perfect for me, i wanted to be off the main strip, near the Mekong but in a quiet location and this was exactly that! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

LOVED everything about it here! The staff were BRILLIANT, went above and beyond to help us multiple times! The location on the river was perfect and breakfast was delicious (you ate waterfront which was so nice!) The rooms were lovely, spacious and had comfy beds. As it was down season our booking included a river cruise along the Mekong and we had such a great time ! 10/10 would absolutely come back here and definitely would recommend.
