Good place. Staffs are very kind with with warmful atmosphere. Breakfast and dinner (3times / week) were so delicious. Easy access to central part of Luangprabang.

The host was very friendly and welcoming, and although I missed the family dinner, the atmosphere in this dorm is laidback but quite friendly. The bed in the dorm was also quite comfortable and the AC was the perfect temperature at night. Breakfast was also delicious.

Well what to write I just don’t know. Perhaps the best stay I ever had! So the story, the hostel was closed for renovation and we stayed to Casa nostra which is run by the brother of the owner of this property, but I met the owner and the philosophy is the same at both places. Clean, spacious, value for money but above they care about their guests, they want to make them feel like they are in their home helpful with EVERYTHING. I haven’t met such thing before. The breakfast is awesome different everyday, the also organise the family dinners which is an excellent idea to being people together and meet with others, just great. Just go there, will no regret it at all, made my stay just great in Luang Prabang.

Do yourself a favour and book here if you've got some time in Luang Prabang. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful, everything is clean and comfortable. Location is a 10min walk to the river or the old town, in a quiet area across the street from a temple. Breakfast was amazing, nice and varied as it changed everyday. The shared dinners 3times a week are also an awesome opportunity to meet some people and have some great homemade food. i will absolutely be back if I get a chance!

The room is basic but cozy and clean. The staff is very friendly and sweet. They really make me feel like home and less lonely after a long month travel. The food in breakfast and family dinner is simple but delicious. I have decided to stay longer than I first planned. Highly recommend.

I’m not sure where to start because I honestly loved everything about La Casa De Jardin! The property is beautiful, the breakfast and family dinners are delicious (and vegetarian), and the rooms are comfortable! I had originally just booked for one night in the dorms, but when we arrived back in Luang Prabang we booked in a queen room which was spacious and clean. Cyren deserves a very special mention as she went above and beyond to support myself and other guests, even going as far to invite us back for the family dinners on the nights we didn’t stay at La Casa de Jardin. She was extremely helpful in booking/recommending the best tours. I will recommend La Casa De Jardin to anyone who comes to Laos because I have never felt so well taken care of. Thank you for everything!

Must definitely must sort out the privacy curtains around the bed which at the moment is dismal. Although each bed has a light, peole used their own torch light because they did not want the light from the bed to disturb other people in the middle of the night. Privacy curtains is a two-way thing: it gives privacy and it prevents disturbance to others in the room. The toilet seat of one of the toilets on the ground floor is too small. It is like trying to use a child's toilet seat on an adult's toilet bowl!

The common areas were spacious, the family atmosphere, location was ok and not too far away. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

It’s a bit far from the center (night market and main spots), however you can also do a relaxed walk (15 minutes, not big deal 😅) Additionally, it’s very close to UXO museum, so not bad at all.

The staff is awesome, very welcoming. They helped me to organise a short trip to waterfalls, and also with train ticket to Vang Vieng (they recommend me to buy it online in the official app to avoid agency commissions, and also arranged the transfer to train station at a very good price). They invite guests to dinner Mo, Wed & Fr, which not only is a great detail but also a fantastic opportunity to meet other travelers. They also serve a very tasty breakfast!! It’s a great place, totally recommended!!

There was a water problem in the dorm and kitchen when everything flooded at night but it was because someone left the tap open so it wasn’t the hostels fault and they worked really hard to fix it 💕

Great location for walking into the historic quarter. In a cute area opposite a temple. Staff are incredibly helpful & they provide amazing family dinners as well as a home cooked breakfast. The double room was very spacious, clean & comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay here

We had an awesome stay! Starting with the owners, which were really friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room without an increase of price. The room was amazing! Really comfortable and pretty. The facilities were right next to our room and super clean. Sharing them with other people on our floor was no problem. The hostel also offered a bike rent and a few tours which was great. Last but not least the owners offered free "family-dinner" multiple days of the week. It was amazing freshly cooked meals and they even had vegan options! All over all an amazing stay!

Maybe the AC on a little earlier in the day, it didn't come on until the evening so the dorm was very hot and smelt a little. But really a minor complaint :)

The family dinner was great, everyone was so friendly. You have to stay on either a Monday, Wednesday or Friday for this.

My laundry came back with bleach spots, BUT they gave my money back. Still this is a bit sad as it can’t be restored but they handeld it the best they could!

Very kind people, it is a small hostel but they treat you like family. I haven’t joined, but they organized a free family dinner 3 times a week. In the morning they would cook you free breakfast. They help you with everything. Some tips: - a little plank with the beds would be nice because my stuff kept falling in between the bed on the floor - I missed a good blanket, it get kind of cold with the A/C
