As backpackers, this stay was really great and hard to fault. It was great to get a nice bed and fantastic shower. There are a couple of dusty parts in the room, but hard to fault.

The owner was kind enough to upgrade us to a triple room for free. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable, and great showers. It is located at the bottom of the main walking street/ night market. 10 minute walk to get to the main shops. The owner also arranged us a private car to the train station for 250,000 kip. Breakfast was included. However, we only ate here once. It is also located right next to the temple for the morning monk alms. This was cheaper than staying in a hostel for 2 adults.

Breakfast finishes at 930am 🥲 so if you’re a late sleeper, be aware lol. (That being said, the breakfast is included and DELICIOUS!)

Authentic architecture for the area. Everything has been renovated since Covid. Beautiful courtyard, really friendly staff - Phan has all the answers to all your questions! Great aircon and beautiful bathrooms. Beds are on the harder side like most of SE Asia, but still comfortable enough. The location is brilliant too, if you don’t want to be in the middle of the main area. 15-20 minute walk to the Night Markets.

just need to improve a litle bit for some cleaning

i was staying in luangprabang for 1 week and i stayed here for my second hotel, this hotel is the best for me and very enjoyed for my holiday and very quiet. the staff was exellent and great service , take care for the customer everytime. the location is very good , there are many beautiful temple and nice street view and the breakfast also great. i will come back again for my next time with my friends.

Beautiful hotel with incredibly helpful staff. The location of the hotel is perfect and we were even upgraded for free to a bigger room which was a lovely surprise. The beds were also extremely comfortable!

The only thing I would say could have been better is how clean, my bathroom was. While it was clean for all its intents and purposes, there were still some areas that could have benefited from a quick dust. As I found a couple of cobwebs. While it’s not really a big deal, when everything else is excellent, a small thing like this, is more apparent.

I like many things during my stay here. I liked all the little details in the room like having comfy slippers and robe. I loved having a really big desk to write at after my daily adventures. I also liked how attentive the staff is to the personal needs of their guests. They always answered all my questions, when they saw I ate spicy, they made sure I always had chili for my breakfast. Which speaking of, is one of the more generous complimentary breakfasts I’ve had in a while. The portions were generous, with a hearty selection of fruits and a wider selection of meals for breakfast than other places. Often hotels will have mostly western options and one other Asian option. Or vice versa. But here there’s a variety of options of Asian breakfasts as well and I always left the table full and satisfied.

The hotel was at very good location in central of Luangprabang.The room was very nice with beautiful garden . Breakfast was very delicious with fresh fruit and free drinking water .Mr Phan is very nice and great service , very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back to stay here again in the next time ... Highly recommend!

Exceptional Stay at Chaluenxay Legend Hotel – A Memorable Experience! I had a truly wonderful stay at Chaluenxay Legend Hotel, thanks especially to the outstanding service provided by Mr Phan, an excellent manager with great English communication skills. He is incredibly informative, friendly, caring, and helpful — always ready to assist with anything I needed during my stay. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, quiet, and offered a beautiful city view. The breakfast was excellent, and considering the price I paid, everything far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage site, just a 5-minute walk from both the Night Market and Morning Market, making it very easy to explore the best of Luang Prabang. A big thank you to Mr. Phan for making my vacation so smooth and enjoyable. Please extend my sincere appreciation to the rest of your team as well. I will definitely be back — and next time, I’ll stay even longer!

Pan at reception was very welcoming and helped us all throughout our stay! The hotel is in a great location and we had a lovely stay, with comfy beds and great facilities. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival and the hotel has lots of extra touches, such as laundry. Would recommend!
