Not much. Bare minimum but you get what you pay for

The concept and design was really cute. Like the set of Mamma Mia. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable.

I would suggest checking the rooms on a daily basis to empty rubbish bins, replenish water, etc. I stayed four days and no one ever came to check.

Very clean, spacious and quiet room in a family run hotel. Constant supply of hot water in the attached bathroom. A modest breakfast available at extra cost (egg, sausage and bread). Walking distance of the river and the town centre. The English speaking owner was very pleasant and helpful and provided useful information. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visitors to Savannakhet.

When I checked in, I was asked to pay a slightly higher price than I had on Booking app, but this was straight away rectified when I showed the booking and I had no more issue.

The hotel is cosy and very clean. The bed is very, very comfortable, also the pillow is of good quality. The location is few minutes away from the airport and very close to local shops and restaurants. I travel to Savannakhet at least 4 times a year, if the price is kept as it was this time, I believe to have found the ideal place where to stay in the future trips.

Staff tried to initially overcharge for the room and also charge me 100,000kep for a tuktuk to the bus station when the cost of the tuktuk from the bus station was only 50,000kep. Both issues were corrected but it did make me feel like the hotel was trying to rip me off. Outdoor space is not nice to sit in and room doesn’t have a balcony as described and instead looked into a disused garden.

Good location with easy walk to the main old area. Beds and room felt comfortable and clean

Staff didn’t speak any foreign language.

This family-owned property is located in the colonial part of town and about a 10 minute walk to the center. I recommend an upgraded room in the newer 2-story section: big, bright, large windows, AC, nice bathroom and TV with Netflix. The English-speaking owner was helpful, but the non-English-speaking staff less so. (Don’t think the town or hotel gets a lot of Western visitors; surprisingly there is a French restaurant and a fancy wine shop!) The breakfast cost extra and was so-so.

    - The area (actually the whole city of Savannakhet) has a lot of street dogs. They are usually sleeping during the hot daytime, but at night they may bark at you and eventually become dangerous.

    - Friendly staff who can speak English and Thai. - Delicious breakfast for 60'000 Kip (~ 3 USD) - Walkable distance (5 to 10 minutes) to the Mekong river with a jogging road and fitness machines. The night market and the historical areas are also about the same distance. - Very clean and modern room.

2 small soaps, no shampoo, mini bottle water, free tv channels all thai tv, Near airport far from city center, Tuktuk twice more expensive than in thailand, thrice more for small runs... Little to see and do in Savannakhet WARNING dates cannot be changed, you cannot live early and get refund for unspent nights.

Nothing much but maybe the rooms should have a phone to call reception and a kettle and coffee.

MUST STAY! The owner is very friendly and speaks English very well, the hotel is beautiful and very clean. The rooms are also clean and come with a smart TV, so Netflix and prime are available. The aircon works well and is quiet and the bed is extremely comfortable. The location is excellent only a five minute walk to the heart of the city where a lot of the restaurants/night market and bars are located.

I was woken up before 7am by construction work. Also 3 successive car alarms immediately outside my room. The builders were rude and aggressive when I asked them what time they finish. One of them tried to intimidate me with a hammer. I was told before checking in the they would only be working in the afternoons, so I don't appreciate being lied to. Probably my worst hotel experience this decade.

    Staff were nice and friendly.

The facilities were satisfactory, but not to the point where I would consider them overly beneficial. The door to my room in particular had an unusual locking mechanism, and I would advise anyone staying to ask the staff to show you how to lock your room before you enter for the first time.

The location was useful as far as getting into the market square of Savannakhet. If you are looking for somewhere to do your visa run into Thailand, be prepared to take taxis to get there and back as it is too far to walk from the hotel.
