IndiaFood is a little expensive compared to outside rates. Lack of english speaking staff makes communication a little difficult, although they were very cooperative and helped us as much as possible through Google translate.
Location was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel also helped us find a taxi for our day tour to the national park and the next day to the train station. They also have a sauna which was great.

The room was large, comfortable and clean. The restaurant was good. Could eat breakfast, lunch or dinner there. The restaurant staff was nice. One of the hotel clerks was also very helpful.

New ZealandThere are no lifts, it was challenging to walk with two little kids up and down all the time. They offered a help to bring suitcases upstairs though. The metal rim around steps outside of the main entry were sticking out that it's not safe, especially for little feets. Very old room, toilet size is so tiny 1m.sq., not clean there was dust and cobwebs around the window, mould and rust in the bathroom. Another inconvenience was way too late start breakfast at 9am until 11am. And it's not a buffet, it's a set menu, where you can't even choose your drink. For breakfast you paid you can only get a cup of black tea and if you want a coffee you have to pay extra. What makes things worse, we had full board, but didn't enjoy it at all except salads. There were times they brought us burnt porridge, which was inedible or greasy potatoes with dry chicken. Lunch and dinner had no drinks at all, not even water. Half of the family started exploding eateries nearby and confirmed that we overpaid for our terrible meals at the hotel restaurant. Still not sure how they got the restaurant title. We tried to withdraw our full board option after the first meal, but the receptionist Alla, told us not possible as we booked it via Booking. Another biggie is absolutely uncomfortable beds, we all woke up with all body aching, especially lower backs. Mattresses are so soft and you can fall into the dent when you sit on the edge of your bed. When I reported this to the reception, they just said all mattresses were the same across the whole hotel. In regards to the reception staff, upon arrival we asked them to repair the window latch as we had two children under 5; to fix the wobbly toilet seat, to improve TV screen quality resolution and sound of the music channel. We were shocked that the lady reported that everything was fixed and in reality nothing was done.
Great location, but next to the busy road full of crazy drivers. Kitchen staff was trying to accommodate their menu as it was not tasty.

Poland5000 tenge penalty for losing card opening the room. We have lost 2 cards. Most hotels does not even require cards to be returned. In this case we had to pay additional 10 000 tenge which is almost half of a daily room rate.

KazakhstanThe mattress was miserable. It had springs but no padding on top of them so was impossible to be comfortable. The first night my wife and I both woke with numbness. I couldn't sleep comfortably the second night.
Location is perfect. Staff were helpful. Sauna was excellent.
