How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing - had a great stay.
Very friendly staff at the front desk, permitted an early check in several hours ahead of time. Convenient to several restaurants, but a bit of a distance to central Kuwait City - easy bus to get there and back though. Loved my view! Delicious breakfast as well.

No supplies at all and no room service to ask you if you need something(for 6 days, 5 nights) TV is old and not working most of the days (they tried to fix it but I was disabled again). An extra night was added because I arrived 4 am in the morning and not 2 pm (but that wasn't a real issue for me) The bathroom is too small that you have to get it by your side and sure you will hit something if you don't care.
I had airport shuttle when I arrived and when I left and it was extremely nice, clean room, comfortable pillows, nice location (all what you need is around and the sea is just a walking distance

Smell of smokers from outside easily comes to my room. Noise from nearby rooms and corridor. Bed and cushions/ pillows not nice. Bathroom amenities could be better. TV not good. Iron machine is very bad.
Room size is ok Location and nearby shops.. Breakfast is very good. Helpful staff.

This is my third time at the hotel. Excellent location near the restaurants, Marina Mall, and coffee shops. Staff are welcoming and helpful, comfortable bed.

the rooms was not as per standers or at least not as visited last time, no housekeeping ,you have to ask for housekeeping several times to make up your room. Safe was not working and no instruction how to work, no coffee was provided in the room only tea.
location, reception stuff, View, price, breakfast WAS GOOD, stuff was very helpful even with the room upgrade. good parking spaces and facilities around the hotel.

some of the rooms have problems with the hot water supply, that takes a lot of time to heat up. some of the TVs in their rooms have an erratic operation/and is quite complexe to deal with. the housekeeping staff sometimes leave a bad/sweat smell in the room after they're gone. and also long black hairs can be found after said housekeeping.
The staff is very helpful. the breakfast buffet is decent. the rooms are spacious. the location is great.

A couple of minor things could be improved: the bathroom drain needed some attention, the cleaning service could be a bit more responsive (perhaps more staff are needed), and the room could benefit from more lighting. I hope the hotel will address these small maintenance issues promptly to keep everything in top condition, as some of the furniture and other items are starting to show a little wear. Also, the breakfast price seemed a bit high compared to the choices and quality offered. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it.
Great hotel experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The location is excellent, close to lots of restaurants and malls. While I didn't try the breakfast (preferred to eat out), the convenient airport shuttle was a huge plus. Highly recommend!
