I cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay here. It is absolutely stunning, and the perfect place to relax. We only stayed one night but decided not to leave until the afternoon the following day and we were able to stay in our room until 2pm on the day we checked out which was very much appreciated. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond throughout the stay. The restaurant provided a great selection of food and we ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it was all delicious. We also had fantastic foot massages that were only 20 dollars. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Choice for breakfast is limited for people who are not into eggs, tables at the restaurant could be set (the dining „room“ is a little bit too minimalistic to our favour)

Astonishing beach, very clean (cleaned multiple times a day!), ecofriendly place (avoiding waste etc), silent and relaxed stay at the beach (there is plenty of space around each sunbed, enough sunbeds for all hotel guests), the bay has a nice location, clear water, houses have plenty of space, kayaks/SUPs to rent for free, nice motorbikes for rental, big menu for lunch/dinner, delicious food and cocktails, very friendly and helpful staff

No mattress cover on the bed so when the sheets moved (and they did) you were on the mattress. I mentioned it to the team as an idea for improvement.

Looks exactly like its photos! Amazing views. Very easy to get to. Rooms were lovely and all faced the sea. Rustic luxury. Great cocktails, great people and beautiful side of the island. We drove around the island and this was our fave side. Shout out to team member Karuth who went above and beyond! Highly recommend the three times cooked fries.

To be honest, when the tuktuk took turned from the main road to enter a muddy road, then passed by an over filled trash, and rode along some brownish pond, I was not very optimistic. Then we went up some small worn stairs and passed by some open place with some few old training equipment which finished to kill my motivation. But slowly, I started to relax, appreciate the calm and beauty of the area and everything felt much better. The beach is gorgeous, and you always have access to some sun bed, SUP boards, and canoe. The service at the beach is really good. The staff is extremely helpful and dedicated. The breakfast is really good, with the best croissant I hate since a long time. The food at the restaurant is really high quality, and the room withe outdoor bathroom is enjoyable. I really liked the feeling of the place. More family feeling than industrial resort, very quite and isolated. The beach is really nice, the sand is beautiful. the water very clear and perfectly warm. Just a shame the sea bed is quite boring and if you go for a walk in the "woods" beyond the beach it is sadly packed with plastic and empty bottles. But all in all, I highly recommend the place.

The beach is the best we saw on the island - a long stretch of white sand with calm water. The other side of the island has some small waves as windier. The rooms are fairly simple but very comfortable and clean. Restaurant food was good; staff attentive.

Leaving…. I extended my stay twice

Situated on the most stunning beach with white sand & crystal clear water. The view will take your breath away. Hotel has paddle boards & kayaks you can use for free. Rooms are huge & food is great. Staff are so kind, helpful & warm.

Beautiful hotel. Being at the end of the shoreline, there was not much disturbance from other hotels. The staff really care about the guests - they were friendly and helpful. The beach is beautiful and calm - great place to relax. One day a party boat pulled up, and before I could look to hear where the noise was coming from, the staff were already on their dinghy boat to the larger one and basically told them to go away, which they did. This place really cares about the guest experience. Food was great. Outdoor shower was amazing! A must stay place!

Loved this property! So relaxed, lovely accommodation and the beach is fantastic the staff are lovely and they really help you with everything. Also the staff protect the private beach to ensure peace and tranquility which really made it such an amazing stay!

Our stay at The Secret Garden Koh Rong was simply magical. The hotel's location is nothing short of extraordinary, directly overlooking Pagoda Beach, which in our opinion is perhaps the most enchanting beach on Koh Rong. The fine white sand and crystal clear waters create an atmosphere of indescribable peace and beauty. What made our experience even more special was the exceptional care and warm welcome of all the staff. Special thanks go to Mr. Ravuth, who took impeccable care of us, anticipating and meeting our every need with rare kindness and professionalism. His helpfulness and smile made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. He also arranged for us a very interesting island tour and a perfect transfer to the mainland. We cannot fail to mention the wonderful Mrs. Srey Pov of the SPA. a delightful person and her massages were a real panacea, a pure relaxing experience that regenerated completely. The restaurant staff was also always friendly and efficient, offering a good service and delicious dishes. The Secret Garden Koh Rong is a true gem, a place where natural beauty is perfectly combined with impeccable service and extraordinary customer care. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a piece of paradise and unforgettable hospitality. We hope to return soon!

The hotel’s location is absolutely incredible—it boasts the best stretch of beach on Pagoda Beach, with pure white sand and no rocks, unlike other nearby hotels. We stayed in a beachfront bungalow with stunning, uninterrupted views. The room was spacious and simply but tastefully furnished. The bathroom was exceptionally large, featuring both an outdoor shower and a bath. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding—every member of the staff was exceptionally helpful. This place truly feels like paradise; once you’re here, you won’t want to leave.

Breakfast could be improved. While sufficient, it lacks variety. That’s the only (minor mention), everything else absolutely amazing.

The staff is impeccable! All super polite, attentive and ready to make your stay feel welcoming. Can’t mention enough their proactive approach, eye for detail and thoughtfulness. Always aware of every activity we were doing in the island. They have a special place in our hearts.
