I rarely had such a wonderful experience in a hotel, everything was just perfect. The staff is so friendly and professional, they organised everything for us (hotel transfer, welcome drink, booked restaurant table, tourist guide for Angkor Wat, pool service etc..) so we could enjoy a wonderful stay. The hotel is very quiet, has a very nice swimming pool and our family suite with 2 bed rooms was big, comfortable and very well equipped. I would recommend the Elephant to anyone traveling to Siem Reap

The friendliness of all the staff was unmatched. The front desk and restaurant staff were wonderful, the rooms were large, and the pool refreshing. Loved the happy hour specials. The hotel arranged an Angkor tour for us with guide and driver and it was fantastic. They also arranged airport transfers without issue. We also recommend going to the circus and the elephant sanctuary.

It's my second time staying at The Elephant, and it was just as good as the first time. The staff are incredibly kind and professional, very patient and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Fresh clean linen, great a la carte breakfast menu with delicious expresso coffee on demand. The cocktail by the pool was delicious, it wasn't overcrowded as it's low season, and the water is great if you want to refresh yourself after a long walk through the temples. I'm definitely coming back again in the future.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect.

I don’t have enough words to express how amazing our stay was, especially because of the lovely staff. We planned to stay for 4 days but ended up staying for 6. The bed was super comfortable and we slept so well. Breakfast offered plenty of delicious choices, and the hotel restaurant served excellent food. Cocktails during happy hour were a highlight, and afternoon tea with different local desserts each day was such a thoughtful touch. We loved the tree planting activity. We planted a cannonball tree and we are already planning to come back in a few years to see it grown! The in-room massage was incredibly relaxing. And all of that would already make for a wonderful stay, but the staff truly made it unforgettable. So warm, kind, and proud of their work. It didn’t feel like they were just employees, it felt like they were truly a family, and we were welcomed into it. It filled my heart. This place is a gem, we felt cared for, relaxed, and connected. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and see you again soon!

We loved everything about our trip!

We were warmly welcomed the first day! We loved the British colonial charm! The rooms were large and clean with very comfortable beds! We enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinners and especially the tea time! The staff was amazing and very welcoming! They made excellent recommendations for visits in Seim Reap and set up our various excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay and highly recommend this hotel and excellent price! We plan to return when we are able to come back to Seim Reap!

We had the honeymoon suite on the 3rd floor, the best view of the pool and surrounding area. Everything surpassed our expectations. A walking map might help for those who don't have cell service. Many streets seem to have no signs or signs with names that are different from those on Google Maps.

The Elephant is simply wonderful. The staff make this place extra special; everyone is friendly, polite, and go out of their way to make your stay perfect. I booked the honeymoon suite so I could have a bathtub, and it was fantastic. Breakfast each morning was delicious and afternoon tea was something to look forward to. The ginger tea is fantastic! Close enough to walk to the tourist attractions, but quiet enough to enjoy your relaxation time. Free evening tultuks to Old Market and Pub Street for those who prefer not to walk.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained, but what makes this hotel so great is the amazing staff! 5 star service with a smile and kind word every day. The pool is very relaxing either for swimming, reading a book or even for a nap. Every morning of our 9 day stay we looked forward to being greeted by the dining staff and very much enjoyed the delicious provided breakfast. I have stayed at many nice hotels with excellent service, but this one is just a bit better.
