Coconut House is a hidden gem just a little oit of the city centre. A nice pool amd friendly hotwl staff. Very large rooms but with basic shower facilities.

Basic shower facilities. Airconditioning can only be activated when in the room.

    The staff were fabulous

The room was awful - supposed to be deluxe but it was old there were no blinds on the windows and a hole in the sheets. The cups were filthy and shower was terrible no actual shower just hanging on the wall by the toilet. Mosquitoes everywhere in the room.

Good value for money. The hotel could use a little refurbishment, but this also gives it some character and keeps the price reasonable.

The staff were great. They made mistakes but quickly addressed them.

Lighting was not great in the room and sidewalks were not without flaws

Older hotel with ok types of lighting, bathing, but TV reception not good. Staff made up for any issues, great young people.

Dining has issues. The food and pricing were great, but the order of presentation of food was distressing. Drinks, coffee and shakes sometimes before or after meals. Generally a fruit plate is given at the end of the meal but, especially when crowded, they forgot

The hotel was and felt like a little historic piece of Cambodia tucked away in a little niche and was comfortable in all respects. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The food, for the most part, was good and fresh. The linens were clean and comfortable. The prices of the dishes on the menu were also very reasonable. All in all, I would not have an issue recommending this hotel for a few days or even a week to unwind.

I would have liked more traditional Khumer food and desserts on the menu as well as more rice dishes. Personally, when cooking eggs, I like mine cooked with butter and not the oil they use I assume, make the local dishes, but when I requested them to use butter for my eggs, delicious. I didn't like the tiny bottles of water that you received every day and would advise anyone to bring some larger bottles with them depending on the length of their stay. The shampoos and soaps supplied were ok, but just that, ok. The makeup of the room or do not disturb signs would not fit over the door handle, so room service usually woke me up in the morning knocking to see if the room required cleaning. The grounds looked a little tired, but I'll add that to being off-season, and things were definitely slower for them right now.

The property itself is really beautiful, especially the rooms by the pool

Unfortunately the property seems to have seen better days, the pool was not very clean, and the yard was a bit messy. The staff was very kind but unfortunately not very helpful, as it was difficult to communicate in English. Also what you book as a Villa with private pool is just a very large room with a bathtub. Beware of it before booking

Trying to find something...The aircon worked.

Everything. Staff at reception incompetent and useless. We booked 5 rooms with 2 single beds, which was confirmed in writing. Upon arrival, the receptionist told us the price for 2 beds was higher and anyway he only had 2 available. After several phone calls to the owner and taking things in our hands, we got 2 rooms with 2 beds, and 3 with double beds. My room smelt bad. The shower spilled all over. Very unpleasant bathroom. Globally dark and didn't look clean. Run down hotel, poorly trained staff, probably poor management. Will NEVER come back and strongly recommend to AVOID.

WiFi is a little bit lagging and slow, but sometimes it’s working fine.
