Don't come during the rainy season because the water would not be very good as the mud from the construction area flows down. I'm not sure if it's the reason why the water's a bit itchy. Wifi connection is also not good. Lastly, there's not much variety of foods during breakfast, but with the price, it's understandable.

The place is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are very accomodating. If you like peace and quiet, then this is the place for you. I also love the free paddle boards. My family and I enjoyed it a lot.

We did not like the sea water (probably cause of the rainy season), we had expected clear water. Not easy to go to other places so you are a bit stuck which is ok for a few days but I wouldn't stay a whole week. Our room was a bit old (the wardrobe handle got off, the shower transformed the bathroom in a lake and a part of the shower head got off). The key lock to get into the room was very hard. Food is a bit pricey considering you are in Cambodia (3 USD a bottle of water) but the food is good. The staff is very nice but many of the workers do not speak English.

The staff was very nice! Probably the best location on the island as it is right there when you arrive by boat, to reach other places you will need to walk or literally go through water so very difficult if you have a suitcase! Also, probably cause of the rainy season, some places looked abandoned (but still you could book them!). Our room only had one bed instead of 2 but it was not a big deal and it was clean. Breakfast was ok, better if there are groups of people cause they have more variety. You can use some paddleboards for free that we really enjoyed as the sea water was so brown (due to rainy season) and with jellyfish. Generally speaking very peaceful.

In fact, the resort is still under construction, with a swimming pool being built in the centre of the site. What's more, the room next to ours was also under construction, which made a bit of noise. Once all the work has been completed, the resort will be fully operational and, I'm sure, very pleasant!

The location of this resort is perfect, with its own quay in the bay! The natural environment was magnificent, between the sea and the jungle, and we made the most of it. The staff are pleasant and the room was clean.

No wifi to speak of in the room, only the restaurant. The bathroom had a strange, open air skylight with no covering. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes!

We stayed in the beachfront villas at Saracen Bay next to Soon Noeng pier. Probably my favourite beach on this part of the island. Large, clean room with a great view of the water. Good buffet breakfast, with Khmer and western options.

While SoonNoeng Resort is a great place for families, I do not think that I would stay here again as a solo traveller. Paradise Villas next door had more of a social vibe.

The restaurant food was ok but didn’t wow us for lunches and evenings. We did attend a bbq but the food was raw (chicken). The staff rectified this really quickly but it did slightly taint it for us.

Clean and comfortable. Right on the beach and next to the pier. Good restaurant- good selection for breakfast. Nraen (member of staff) was particularly helpful in organising trips, being chatty and generally an excellent member of the team! His English was fantastic and removed barriers when trying to organise things. He was particular helpful when we wanted to go on the mangrove tour- he organised the whole thing and it was fab.

Staff very nice and helpful. We got a beachfront bungalow which was so beautiful. The beach is lovely with white sand and palm trees. The place is quiet and tranquil. Ideal for couples. They are building a pool that will be very nice. The breakfast is great but dinner menu is basic and not delicious. However there’s a very good restaurant next to the resort. Otherwise we loved it and would stay again. Would bring mosquito coils next time though!

The evening we arrived, we had sent messages about the pick up from another side of the beach. Multiple messages were shared about the timetable. We needed to wait for an hour before they arrived without any apologies. We could have walked to the hotel (30mins) faster than waiting. Once we were checking in, they tried to offer us different, not so nice, room that we had booked. One of the staff members (owner I assume) didn’t have any service attitude. He was just laughing on us when we said we don’t want that room saying they have problem with their booking system. Only one ”sorry” would have made the big difference. Luckily other staff members were lovely and helpful. In the end, everything worked out well and we got to keep the room so we enjoyed our time here and could think of going back.

Location was perfect, calmer area of Saracen Beach but walking distance from other resorts and restaurants. Big spacious and clean rooms. Free water every day. Most of the staff was really polite. Free sup-boards for use. Beautiful clean beach with free sunbeds.

The room is large, the lighting is terrible. There are no reading lights near the bed, there are no bedside tables to put books/furniture. Poor wi fi, but it is an island, it can pass. The shower drain, drains with difficulty There are many things that need to be fixed that I will not list here Overall it was a good stay.

Convenient location - attached to the boat arrival dock. Private beach with deck chairs. It is cleaned every day. Breakfast has choice of continental and local food, salty and sweet.

I did find that certain staff members were disengaged, preferring to be on their phone, rather than customer service. It was also difficult to communicate with a majority of staff due to lack of basic English. There is a major building project taking place at the Hotel which can impact your experience. Having said that , everything is done to minimise the impact of this project. This property could be viewed as excellent with some minor improvements. I do believe it needs a manager to step up and organise the staff, to give a first class experience.

The location of the property was excellent. The beach was fantastic, and completely unspoilt.

If you enjoy food with a bit of a sting, I recommend trying dishes with oyster sauce. I had a few, and I really enjoyed them, while my friend found his meals a bit bland (like the Pad Thai, for example). There aren't many vegetarian options available, but you can easily request a meat-free dish, and it usually works out fine. Be prepared to hear every word your neighbors in the adjacent bungalow say, but it typically isn't an issue. Booking tours through the hotel can be a bit complicated, as there aren’t many staff members available to explain what to expect, but these are minor inconveniences. The resort is located on a beautiful, clean & quiet beach and it is well-maintained. You can also take a walk along the shore to find places to eat or shop if you want. What more could you ask for in a holiday beach resort? I recommend it if you’re looking for a lovely spot on the white sandy beach of the island.

The location is very easy to access, as it is situated near the pier where most of the speedboat companies operate. The staff is always friendly and smiling. However, keep in mind that sometimes their English may require a bit of patience, and you might need to try different ways of expressing your thoughts to ensure mutual understanding. In the end, you will find a way to communicate your message effectively. ;)

The breakfast could be more generous. We had a leak during heavy rain, but the staff fixed it.

The hotel is conveniently right opposite the pier so we stepped off the ferry and straight into the hotel. The rooms are clean, large and very comfortable, with good ac and showers.

If you are planning on relaxing and not don’t to much it’s perfectly. But most places are about 20 minute walk or you pay 20$ for a drive. If you come to the breakfast after 9:30 most food is done and they don’t restock it.

The location is great and close to the beach , you have a pier right on it so no need to walk far, the beach is beautiful and mostly clean. There’s the restaurant right in front of the sea, we mostly ate there . The food was great, and the staff were so nice, We even extended our stay.
