How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We got 3rd floor. No lift. Room is neat and clean. But surroundings are worse and noy neat. Good location

The property was having a lot of renovations and we had to walk through their building site to get to our room, the balcony doors and windows were locked with a cable ties The room was quite small, tv didn’t work, no kettle in room as stated and shower didn’t train so would overspill in to the room
The staff in shop: reception were lovely

Not private entrance ac was noraml washroom is bad seat water leak and many insects in room floor and bed lift not available and no other facilities available 😔

Uncomfortable bed. Many stairs to climb. No housekeeping. Stayed one week, which was about 5 or 6 days too long...
The mini mart downstairs was convenient. Lots of restaurant choices close by. Pretty quiet considering the location. It was inexpensive.

Bed sunk very low. Wifi didn’t work. Smelt bad in room and corridors. Loads of ants and bugs. Not a bad budget option
Really good location, close to everything. Good, hot shower. 24 hour mart beneath was useful.

Air-con cannot be turned off and nothing can be adjusted as the remote control seems to speak a different language to the AC itself. Getting frozen at midnight is guaranteed. The light is so dim and there is only one creepy bulb in the room. No use of window.
You get what you deserve for that price. Premium location with friendly staff. A convenient store right on the first floor. The strongest shower I’ve ever seen that could literally blow your head off. The rest is just super basic.

- the mattress is very old, you basically sink to the bottom and hit the bed frame from how worn is it. - even though the rooms are non smoking, the one we had smelt like smoke alot. The smoking area is inside the building near an open area that just blows the smoke down the halls and into the rooms. There is a few floors and I'm not sure about the others, we were on floor 1.
The location and price is great. Would still consider staying here even after the negatives. You have to go through a convenience store to access the hotel which is nice, you can get everything you need at ease.

You get what you pay for: a room with AC and a private bathroom but not much more (few natural light, no decoration).
The hotel is centrally located and reasonably clean. Note that you have toi enter the mini market to get in.

First night room the toilet got clogged 3 times and the shower didn’t work properly. Luckily staff was helpful enough so we could change room for the last 2 nights. Otherwise staff wasn’t really that hospital, no proper greetings, tips to do in the area or helping us to get around.
Good central location, value for money since this was one of the only ones that the price was affordable and had breakfast included.

First the entrance under constructio Or remodelling no big deal. Didn't know where to go. 2 the lock on my door was no good. Had to play with to make the lock work. Felt Uneasy leaving my things they. Last but not least Had a big meat cooler on the 1st floor that made it very unsanitary with animal blood all over the floor or drops.
Was very close to 2 convenience stores. The grand palace, the national history museum. The river. Local food and Western food. Not sure if breakfast came with, but they gave me it's a plus Finish reading why on the bottom. For the price.

Smelly no fridge payed 5 dollars more in riverside hotel last year and was exceptional place looked great in the pictures but when you've booked and it's late suppose you have no choice

There was a bad smell in the room. There were also ants in the room. The property is having renovation work done and so we were woken up by the noise early in the morning.
