The location situated centrally on this beautiful long sandy beach. The chalet type wooden apartment was ‘bijous’ but adequate and comfortable.

    Nothing much to dislike!

    Nothing. Overpriced and terrible

Airconditioning is out of the 1960’s and doesn’t cook the room. They changed my room but it wasn’t working in the second room either. I asked for a fan but didn’t get one. Then they wouldn’t leave me alone anymore, even though I asked staff to stop disturbing me 6 times, they kept knocking on my door even when the “do not disturb” sign was up. Breakfast includes old bread from last week, undercooked eggs and omelettes and the absolute cheapest of the cheapest sausages and ham. Inedible and disgusting. For this price in Cambodia, even on the islands, it’s a complete disaster.

Pool area and location are great. Staff are super friendly and although we had a few issues with our room they are always very nice and helpful. A lot of places on the island are older and run down so keep this in mind.

Rooms have photos of TVs so don’t expect to have a TV in most rooms. We had a gas leak in our room late at night so we had to change rooms and the toilet didn’t flush properly for the first few days. Gym is super run down. However, we are on an island so can’t fault anything too much!

The hotel is great and one of the best on the beachfront, good pool also. They give you fresh towels and beach towels daily which I think was good as the beach towels get so sandy each day. Staff were all friendly and helpful and they offer help with your bags to and from the pier. The rooms were basic but for island living they are very premium, good fridge with snacks, good hair dryer and shower and cleaning was also great

We didn’t have a tv in the room initially, none of the tvs have any signal due to the connection on the island. On requesting we did have a tv put into our room and could watch our downloaded movies on it so no problems there, wifi is also hit and miss but it’s what to expect being on a secluded island and is the same in all areas. Sometimes you struggle to get it in the room but have a stronger connection on the beachfront. The breakfast was also quite basic but nothing to complain about

Staff very pleasant and friendly, nothing a problem to them Rooms were spacious and clean Had swimming pool with lots of sunbeds both around the pool and on the beach

Quite expensive for what you got. Breakfest included Whig. Was a buffet breakfest but food wasn’t at a good standard and not alot of options. The resturant food was expensive and not at a good quality either, we often went to other places for lunch and dinner The gym is a tiny room with barely any equipment

The location was amazing, the pool is on the beach and is so nice to swim in looking over. It’s got many food and drink options as well as a mini mart nearby which is convenient. Staff was helpful taking our bags to the room and informing us of all the available facilities. The room was very spacious and fairly modern, however there was always a good amount of mosquitos in the room which didn’t seem to disappear and there is no mosquito net to protect you from this. There was also a funny smell coming from the drain in the bathroom, however, from previous reviews I believe this is a sewage problem on the island, not necessarily the resorts fault.

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!! We stayed at this hotel and got plenty of bugs bites!!!!! Besides that, we were told the snacks in the room are FREE, but when we checked out we were CHARGED for all of them, very very expensive. The team was rude and did not count our say.

The staff were not helpful in trying to assist me with my travel arrangements back to the main land and would not allow me to pay by card for the travel arrangements whereas I had not faced this problem at other resorts. They also tried to charge me $40 extra for a taxi from the pier on the mainland to Pnom Penh Airport. I found this out when I went to the pier on Long Set Beach and it was only $80. My key got stuck in the door of my hotel room and they said they would be there in 5 minutes and I waited an hour and they still did not show up. Then I had to leave my room unlocked whilst I went out for the day in hope they would sort it out (which they did in the end). There was also 10 mosquitos in my room at any given time.

It is a very secluded space with only access to the beach and zero integration with local communities

Good breakfast, top location, daily clean service in the room

No wifi in the rooms, totally overpriced for the island.

Great location and facilities! Free breakfast was great and the restaurant had lots of choice.

We had to move rooms due to finding black mould on our ceiling. Staff were great about it and moved us straight away but definitely something to note.

Pool area was nice. Room was spacious and clean. The sink in the bathroom was smelly, might be related to rainy season.

Food was alright. The “gym” was just a small room outside of the main building. It was more than hot in there and both treadmills did not work. Everything was a little bit too old…

Great location, right in front of the beach, some restaurants around, 5min walk to the long set pier, nice (and very clean) swimming pool. Pool towels provided. Varied buffet breakfast, including bread, eggs, pancakes, fruits. Friendly staff. As it is the low season, hotel offered us an early check in and a room upgrade, what we appreciated

Room looks a bit ‘tired’ and in need of some updates, drain in the shower was clogged, but overall it was fine. Set your expectations right and you will enjoy it! Long set beach is a lovely and calm area, but depending on your room location, it can be at times a bit loud in the evening due to mad monkey party hostel near by. Additionally, Koh Rong has a severe (lack of) sewer management issue but it is not the hotels fault
