Location, swimming pool area, staff are all top class. An incredible place to just switch off, relax & explore the island. Food really good all day long, bar & quiz great.

The music choices throughout the day were all over the place. Sometimes they’d play the same song 4 or 5 times in a row. Also, we booked the full day snorkeling/fishing/plankton tour through the hotel and learned from other people on our tour that they paid $7 less per person by booking through an agency on the beach right next to the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool is fantastic with little cabanas you can stay in if you manage to get there early enough. You can have your food and drink brought to you by the pool. The hotel is right on the beach which is nice. The restaurant has plenty of choice and the happy hour prices for drinks are cheap(ish). The bungalows are very basic, but in line with what you’re paying for. We enjoyed the entertainment that was on every other night and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.

There can be more options for vegetarian/vegen food in the breakfest. The menu description were very poor compare to the other courses.

The atmosphere is great - u feel it's an island resort that doesn't try to be anything else. Restaurant is great and so does the pool. Especially the big pool beds - you can spend the day on this things. Very relaxing. Location is centerl which is good but bare in mind that if you look for a quiet stay you should look a both ends of the bay. Sara's can get quiet busy with people.

We loved everything and just wish there were more covered areas to lounge when it was raining as the only options where in the restaurant tables, your room, or the cabanas by the pool, which were not many and always already occupied by whichever guest got there first.

Sara Resort was pure paradise, from the moment we arrived on the little boat walking off the sea and through the beach, we were ready to stay forever. We got a complementary room upgrade into one of the bungalows which were super comfortable, air conditioned, big beds, and a small porch at the entrance. The pool is big and beautiful with a funky design that reminds me of the 60s sunken living rooms. It was clear that this is the most popular resort on Saracen Bay, as it was quite full even in low season and people coming for lunch and dinner at their restaurant from other resorts as well, there was a lively atmosphere and daily activities like bingo, trivia, fire shows, etc. The hotel has many adorable dogs chilling and making friends with the visitors, they are all very well behaved and mainly just lounge around or play on the beach.

It’s not that we didn’t like it as had a great time but the rooms aren’t big (although clean and comfy bed). We had booked a twin but they are right at the back of the property so moved to a large double - and the beds are large so this was a good alternative. The resort feels perhaps a little tired when you first arrive but actually we had a fun time so it didn’t matter!

Location on the beach, great restaurant, friendly staff, good pool facilities, good included breakfast.

no coffee in the rooms, high prices for coffee and soft drinks at the bar not much space in the bungallows, no way to hang out there other than lying in bed

excellent spot located right in the middle of the the saracen bay beach professional service, decent english spoken by all staff, which is rare in cambodia many breakfast options, although portions are not very big nice pool where you can really swim, not just horse around, which is again rare

Use the boat companies the resort recommends as they will drop you off closer.

I thought I selected a larger room, but it was not.
