How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DO NOT STAY. Do not let the pictures draw you in. My partner and I have been traveling south east asia for a month now, and have stayed in a variety of places. However, this is the worst by far. NO AIR CON, is HORRIBLE. It is so sweaty inside the rooms. Our room was filthy and infested with ants. The area in which the bungalows are in, is far from proper civilisation. I promise, I know what you’re thinking right now: “pretty and picturesque, let’s brave it”. IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. For what you pay, the hotel is disgusting.
Thank you for your “feedback.” We knew this revenge review was coming. You booked a non-refundable bungalow six months ago at a 20% discount, then tried to cancel for free a week before arrival, without giving any reason. When that wasn’t possible, you arrived, decided everything was “terrible” in order to get your money back, and left without staying. Also, you booked a fan bungalow – not air-conditioned – yet complain about no AC. An experienced traveler should know you only get AC if you book it. We’ll happily accept your revenge review, but it says more about your frustration than about our service.

Verified reviewThis bungalow in Koh Rong was absolutely amazing! Located right by the sea, the setting is incredibly peaceful — I honestly think there’s nothing more romantic for couples. The bungalow feels very authentic, surrounded by nature, and gives you a true sense of freedom. The receptionist was super warm and helpful with everything we needed. You can also rent a scooter directly there, which is very convenient. Overall, a beautiful and unforgettable place — highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy nature and serenity on their holiday!

Verified reviewMy stay at Paradiso Ocean Front Bungalows on Koh Rong was an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely perfect — the colorful beachfront bungalows are just a few steps from the ocean, offering breathtaking views, direct beach access, and a true island vibe. The bungalows are simple, cozy, and full of tropical charm, with vibrant colors that match the laid-back atmosphere of the island. It’s the ideal place to relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy the sound of the sea. One important note: If you’re a very light sleeper, be aware that the ocean can get quite loud at night — for me, it was part of the experience, but for sensitive sleepers, it might be something to consider. Darat was also amazing — super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with tips or activities. Thanks to him, my stay was even more enjoyable. If you love nature, beach life, and waking up to ocean views, Paradiso is the perfect choice. I would definitely stay here again!

Verified reviewI´ve spent 2 days alone in that area, 20 minutes far by motorbike from the main boat dock. The place is quiet, nice, probably top 3 beach in the island. The owner was such a nice guy who asked few times if everything was ok. I extended my stay and there were no issue with it. The bungalow is big and well maintained, even the bathroom is in perfect condition. We had a huge storm with big rains and the roof leaked some tears but considering the size of the rain and storm, it did its job. There are local stores to buy foor or drinks, laundry, local restaurants etc but few so you will feel like a local.
Everything was pretty good, nothing to complain.

Verified reviewProperty was everything we expected. It’s basic with no fridge or ac but this is more than compensated by the view and sound of the sea each morning. We loved it stayed for 6 nights.
Nothing as it was what we expected. With this type of property you are exposed to everything as there is no sound proofing so if a dog barks, a baby cries or a moped drives by you hear it.

Verified reviewAbout the stay; room is normal, horrible bathroom needs reaffirming dangerous collapse many cracks, there is no refrigerator, this makes it difficult. having to go to a restaurant all the time, and I had medication that needed cooling, I had to walk almost the entire island to find a man who would keep it for me and every day I would go there to apply the diabetes infection (it is essential to have a mini fridge, not Wi-Fi, and the phone's internet works perfectly anywhere on the island, there is a resort that offers Wi-Fi service, and every day I had breakfast there in gratitude for paying for my medication and being able to use the Wi-Fi, the data internet runs out quickly, I put 69 GB and it only lasted 3 days (this type of sale to tourists is very strange). The good points are the bungalow and the seaside and the clean part of this part of the island, since the garbage takes over the entire seaside (unfortunately I don't see the population who wants to work in this). The heat is overestimated for the service offered, there is no room service, there is no reception at the hotel, there is no refrigerator, there is no Wi-Fi, luckily there are restaurants nearby and you can eat. The guy who served me was nice, but in terms of accommodation, it is far from being equivalent to this value, there are incredible resorts for 39 dollars more that have all this service that is missing. If you see it, do your research.
It has to be renovated, it’s minimal Wi-Fi and a small refrigerator to compensate for the value

Firstly, we waited a long time for you and your medication, ensuring you had what you needed. Unfortunately, it was difficult to communicate with you as you were often unavailable and did not respond to our messages. Secondly, we do not advertise having a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, a service desk and room service on any booking platform. We always recommend that guests come prepared for an island experience, as connectivity and amenities are different from those in the city. While some resorts offer Wi-Fi, we rely on local SIM cards, which is common on the island. Regarding room conditions, we take maintenance seriously and continuously work on improvements. We have very clear pictures of the rooms online, so nothing can come as a surprise. However, last time we checked Koh Rong is a remote island, and infrastructure is still developing. It seems that your expectations were different from what an island stay offers, and we believe a more developed destination might suit you better in the future. The ocean was right up to our porch & was nice to sit there listening to the waves crashing; a bit loud trying to sleep when it was rough & stormy 😄 The ocean was turbulent bc of random storms so trash would wash up but staff cleaned it up right away. The day we left, the ocean was completely flat & made great pictures. I loved the rustic wooden sliding window in the room, I've never seen that before. The mosquito net is a must so it's nice that it was clean with no holes in it. Beach towels were given. Coffee in the room. Shelves in the room which not all places have.
The price was high for what it is, but we were happy with the lower price we found when we booked an additional night. We got dripped on when it rained hard one night but we thought it was kind of funny & let them know the next day so they could fix it before rainy season. Could use some more hangers.

Each bungalow is equipped with a balcony, dining area, wardrobe, hot water shower, hairdryer, safe, and kettle. Guests can choose between bungalows with one double bed, like I did.  However, during my one-night stay, I encountered an issue with the mattress, as it had bugs, which significantly affected my sleep quality. Despite this, the location and the bungalow’s amenities, including the hot water shower, were very nice. Overall, while the setting is beautiful and the facilities are adequate, attention to cleanliness, particularly regarding bedding, is needed to enhance guest comfort.
However, during my one-night stay, I encountered an issue with the mattress, as it had bugs, which significantly affected my sleep quality.

Long Beach has sandflies, and if there is sand on your legs, you can accidentally bring them into bed. This is a common issue in tropical beach environments, so we always recommend rinsing off before bed to minimize this. All our mattresses are brand new, as we recently opened, so it is highly unlikely that any other insects were the cause. However, we always maintain high hygiene standards and will double-check to ensure everything is in top condition. We appreciate your visit and hope you still enjoyed your time on the island.
