Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe bed was a little on the hard side of life, but I found this to be the same all throughout Cambodia in my travels.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was a little expensive in comparison to other places but was tasty 😋

AustraliaNo where near as many places to choose from to eat as the mainland. Enough though.
Breakfast was simple but good. About 1km from the main part of Long Set beach which is mainly young backpackers, so late night boozing etc. The distance keeps you away from the noise but just means a walk during the day.

South AfricaIt would be great if the property could invest in 2 or 3 SUP’s (stand up paddleboards) or even some minimal surfboards. The conditions there are perfect and they are great activities to do when the it’s cloudy or even raining.
The property is nestled away in the hills of Longset Beach. Ideally located if you want to be close to where all the “buzz” is but further enough for privacy and relaxation. If you like the quietness but want access to parties and music this is the best place. As further along the beach near Longset pier is all the backpackers and 2 very big hostels so bare that in mind if you choosing a hotel as a few hotels are located between these and if you are wanting a relaxing trip you won’t get it there. That’s why we chose this hotel as it was the best of both worlds. Also the hotel has one of the only pools on the island that is practically in the sea. The pool bar is great with its poolside bar and a very friendly Kim Sun who takes care of you with amazing cocktails. If you can, book a deluxe sea facing unit they are very spacious and well worth it. Another aspect we where impressed with was their airline thar work exceptionally well and make the stay great especially in the heat.

Great location and staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - even offered to make food not in the standard buffet selection.

FranceSince we visited during the low season, it felt like the hotel wasn’t maintaining certain areas as well as it could have. The bar was closed and our room had small holes in the door and walls that let mosquitoes get in. That said, the staff did provide us with insect spray, which was appreciated.
We really enjoyed the peaceful location of the hotel, it’s tucked away enough to offer calm and privacy, yet still within walking distance of the beach and center. It was the perfect balance between convenience and relaxation. The pool area is a great place to unwind, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or needs.

Only pool at the beach level with great view, good small breakfast. Attentive barkeeper at the pool, private boat pier , easy and uncomplicated scooter rental :)

SwedenYour whole experience will depend on what kind of expectations you come here with. The hotel has everything you need, but don’t expect it will be tip-top. We booked the room with the ocean view. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is huge, but only with cold water (I mean you don’t really need warm water on a tropical island anyway) the AC is classic Cambodian, cold and noisy but you have all room amenities you need. The hotel has a nice pool and the beach is also 10 meters away with enough sun beds and shades to hide. The location is good, 10 minutes walk from the Long Set ferry station and cool bars and restaurants along the way. Luckily it’s far enough from the crowd and the drunk Britt teenagers from Mad Monkey hostel, so not many people walking around. The breakfast is quite tired, you can collect some things to eat, but only few options to choose and not great quality overall. The staff also seemed quite tired and bored throughout the whole stay, they help you if needed, but not with the loveliest smile. But generally I found the local people quite weary, might be from the continues 36 degrees and the annoying Britts all over the place. I would book here again, if I ever come back, I doubt that any other hotel on the island has better quality, only in small details, but go ahead and book this, you wont regret it.

United KingdomThe giant millipede that got into my bedroom and was on my pillow. Holes in the bathroom walls so the bathroom was not sealed from insect invasion. The breakfast juice, fruit and coffee
The coffee wasn't good, on some days it had a horrible taste and was undrinkable. The fruit was limited - often just dragon fruit and papaya. Rarely banana and I didn't see any pineapple. A lot of the food was asian style breakfast food eg noodles. Although the egg station was good , I only spotted bacon once and that was on someone else's plate. The juice was not fresh it was sweetened squash type drink

United KingdomMake sure the ferry drops you at their pier .. book in advance.. or it’s a pain to lug a case along the beach. Watch out for foraging monkeys! Furnishings a bit tired but we didn’t mind.
Right at the end of the beach, with fabulous views, comfortable bungalows and peaceful compared to the other end.

AustraliaThe swimming pool has a lot of chemicals, and we didn't really use it, but we were happy just to be in the ocean. The room was ok, it is functional, but the decor was not to our taste. Of course, this is just a personal opinion, and I think they do a big effort to keep the grounds in good shape. It would be nice if they offered some information about things to do in the area, but I suppose they would if you ask them.
The location was great, in a quiet area of a stunning beach. The staff were nice, and if you asked them for something, they were willing to help out. The rooms were clean and spacious. The private pier is very convenient, especially going back to Sihanoukville, as there is no need to stand in the sun for long. It is a short 10-minute walk on the beach to the long set pier, and there are a number of restaurants on the way.

Nicely located at the quiet end of the main beach which provided for great beach walks. Lovely Infinity pool and bar area over looked the beach and sea. Staff were great especially Con who made sure guests were always happy. Hotel has its own platform for the speed boat making it easy to access.

Sri LankaLocation - A great location as it's on one of the main beaches, Long Set. You can walk from the Long Set pier to the hotel along the beach if you dont have a lot of bags. (Sand is not wheel bag friendly) You can catch a beautiful sunset right from the hotel pool or beach. Lots of restaurants close by to eat and book tours. The hotel has a private pier, so some of the ferry services will drop you right on the hotel's pier. (GTVC ferry service will drop you, but Buva Ferry Service will only drop you on the long set pier) Staff and facilities - Cleaning staff does an amazing job of keeping the beach, hotel grounds, and the rooms very, very clean. The restaurant/bar staff are also very helpful. However, my rooms hair dryer was broken when I arrived, and I asked them twice to help replace it, but that did not happen. There is a restaurant at the hotel. Rooms - We stayed in the farthest rooms but that is not an issue at all so don't worry about booking whatever room. If you have trouble going upstairs, then book a group floor room, and some of the rooms are quite close to the beach, and you can see which ones are on booking.com. The beds were not that comfortable, but that didn't affect our sleep at all. The pillows were comfortable. The room had all the facilities you would need for a beach vacation, including slippers. They clean daily and change towels daily as well. Again, the cleaning crew does a great job. Other things that may help, - Good breakfast spread - Pool bar, pool towels available - A tuk tuk to the hotel was 7 USD from the main pier, but that was not booked by the hotel. Tuk Tuk to the pier from the hotel was 5 USD. - Yes, there are bugs, but it didn't bother us at all. They provide you with an insect repellent for the room. Bring your own repellent for the body. - Don't forget to catch the sunset
