Petra was a fantastic host. We stayed at her place for around a week to study at RULE, a nearby university. She prepared a nice breakfast for us each morning, which made staying there super convenient. We especially appreciated that she bought us vegemite to have on our toast! (a much welcome comfort for us as Aussie travellers) It was great to know that coming home each evening we'd be greeted by a friendly face. Petra was also easy to contact when we had any questions, and she provided insights about Phnom Penh that enriched our stay.

    - Excellent host. Communication is outstanding. - Breakfast includes toast with options to put peanut butter, jam, or a Nutella-like spread. Eggs. Granola and nuts for cereal with cow milk or yogurt. Much better than cheap, nutrition-deficient Corn Flakes! - Service-oriented place!

Two-thirds of the world is lactose intolerant (and up to 100% of East Asians are), so it would be great if they had a soy milk option.

The host Petra is so nice. She’s very interactive with her guests. She welcomes them like a family. We arrived very early in the morning and we cannot find the place but she came out and asked me if I was her guest. She let us in and left our bags for our morning tour.

PETRA PETRA and again PETRA! She is the reason for staying here! She is so welcoming, helpful, charming! Welcoming drinks on arrival, she is so caring and she means it. I loved the spaces and the atmosphere in this great B&B. Very central but a quiet spot. Absolutely Recommend! Thanks PETRA 🫶🏼

Petra is the best! Made us feel so at home and looked after us so well. We loved our breakfast in the morning and if she wasn’t serving other people she joined us for a chat over a cuppa, she had great advice for restaurants and was happy to answer any questions we had. We didn’t have a free drink on arrival so we had it on our last night, where we sat and had a drink with her and great conversation which was very much appreciated! The room was exactly what we needed, the location was great near lots of nice restaurants, we also went to the Phnom Climbing gym nearby.

We felt at home here. We enjoyed a great breakfast with a Dutch flare and a clean, air conditioned room with a very comfortable bed. Petra, our host helped us organise our trip with useful tips for what to do wland where to eat. Would 100% stay here again; it's a gem.

Most importantly the room was clean and comfortable. As a cherry on top, the host made the stay special by being exceptionally helpful and welcoming. Also the b&b employed an english speaking local driver who was very helpful with his local insight and overall a great guy.

The room is basic but spotless, and the host Petra will make you feel the most welcome ever :) She offers any drink as a welcome drink for free, and you can make the breakfast REALLY filling for yourself as I did :)

Petra, the owner is one of a kind. She makes excellent breakfast and tell you all about the city you want to know. Her helping hand TomTom has his own tuktuk and drives you wherever you need to go.

The perfect peaceful stay in PP :) the host, Petra, was so kind and warm, I felt welcomed immediately. The atmosphere is very relaxed and like home. I slept so well and forgot about the chaos of the city. I'll be back soon. Thank you! Best bits: - location is great, near my favorite neighborhood for coffee and food - room was clean and bed was very comfy, great value for the quality - quiet and calm - breakfast was great and coffee was good! Simple but tasty - Petra really goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

I liked it all :) truly great value for the price you pay and a real break from the city despite being so central.

Petra is definitely why you would want to stay here she is very kind and relaxed and gives a lovely breakfast

Parts of the room particularly the bathroom were in a poor state. With a little TLC it could be much more.

This was our second stay at Dutch House - we stayed when we first came to Cambodia, and then again 3 1/2 weeks later. It felt like we were coming home! Petra and Mr Tom Tom greeted us like old friends and made us feel at home. Location is relatively quiet yet with markets and restaurants within a couple of blocks.

    it was perfect.

Comfortable, quiet, homey, inviting! Very gracious and accommodating host (she let me use the room way past check-out time as I had a late flight). The Dutch in me felt comfortable and nostalgic. Good conversations and helpful staff! Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Petra was a wonderful host, after traveling for months it is nice to encounter someone like her! You can tell she really puts a lot of love in this place. Breakfast was great, the bread was so yummy and also all the spreads (western style). The location is not the closest to the city center but it’s still in a busy street with many things to do (buy a SIM card, eat something, a gym…). We mostly took tuk tuks from there though. AC and all the basics were there so overall good price value! We also had a small fridge.

    - no lift - shower runs in the whole bathroom (used to it by now but still a bit of a mess always)
