How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it so easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready with a friendly smile, which made me feel right at home. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The airport pick-up service was very convenient and reasonably priced, which made my arrival stress-free. I was also impressed with how well the hotel arranged activities and tours. Everything was organized smoothly, allowing me to enjoy the experience without any hassle. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value with top-notch service. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The noise from the AC. The internet wifi is slow.

Room is facing the street. All lower floors, noisy with motorcycles and beeping horns I was told hotel was full and until I showed them on the internet rooms available. I was then shown other rooms. Rooms seemed smaller, not sure if it was because of furniture everywhere
Staff was great Rooms supposed to be with balcony? Although covered by futons and unable to access First 2 rooms on first and 2nd floor they're very noisy. Although the receptionists stated no available rooms, I did show her on the internet rooms available, and then they were showing me more rooms.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The location is absolutely awesome—close to everything you'd want to see and do. It offered incredible value for money without compromising on comfort or service. One of the best surprises was how affordable the local Tuk-Tuk rides were, making it so easy and cheap to get around. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

I recently stayed at Cheathata CTA Hotel Siem Reap and was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed. Beyond the excellent service, the value for money is outstanding. Moreover, the location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Siem Reap downtown or a short walk to the Pub Street. This made it easy to look around some attractive places. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. The friendly and helpful staff, great value, and convenient location make it a top choice. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Two buildings, perhaps ours was older, many appliances didn’t work well. First few days room was much too cold And nothing could be die. Then AC was almost non existent and refrigerator stopped working, remotes for TV did not work. Breakfast and rooftop lounge were in a different building.
Large room, bright, big bed, great, friendly and helpful staff, except for maintenance. Travel and tours through hotel were good.

I thought when I was doing the reservation under the Cheathata Hotel. I wasn't aware there is a CTA & CTS section across the street which is the main Hotel. I stayed in CTA room 201 and the bed was uncomfortable. Swimming pool is across the street with restaurant in CTS.
The Staff as always is Outstanding !! I will always stay here cause the rooms in the CTS are comfortable.

I don't have enough time to stay
The actual hotel building is very historical but well renovated and the location is perfect only 400m Pub Street and next to night night market but quiet at night, it is very comfortable to stay at night.

The Cable TV is very difficult, terrible. My only complaint .
This is the most relaxing, comfortable and quiet hotel I have ever stayed at. The Staff is always friendly professional and helpful. I will stay here again.
