How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe staff were so friendly and always willing to help.
We booked the family room as we travelled with 2 younger children, and there was a bunk bed which was a positive draw. However, the top bunk was very high with only a few inches for a railing, so we asked for a spare bed to be placed in the room which was done without any problem. The beds however were the hardest things we've ever slept on, with no give on them at all. Unbelievable to think that no one has ever written a complaint about this. We slept terribly for 2 nights before asking for another room, which was allowed. The bed in the new room was much better and I'd wished we'd asked for a swap after the first night's sleep! Apart from this it was great.

Verified reviewThere are 6 pleasant bungalows spread around a nice pool in beautiful garden and it’s all well maintained. Apart from the ‘jungle’ noises it’s quiet in the evenings. Location is on a large road with nothing of any direct interest for tourists. We rented a scooter at the hotel which was very convenient. As we got used to in Cambodia, the in-house F&B is bit overpriced but the French touch made it still worth to stay in for dinner. The restaurant offers quality food and a wide selection incl wines & craft beers. Staff are friendly and speak good English and French.
The free breakfast includes just one item from the menu so you still end up paying extra when ordering eggs with your pancake for example.

Verified reviewIt seems to be in a small green oasis. The staff speaks perfectly english and french, the bungalow was very spacious, clean and fresh. Beautiful pool too. I only had lunch but it was delicious. I think au cabaret vert is a perfect get away to immerse in a quiet garden. PS: try the homemade jam! I wish i had time to taste more dishes xx
Nothing!

Verified reviewStayed here with my baby. really nice big room in the main house. Spacious bathroom and room. Lots of books and toys, lovely gardens and pool and delicious food. The staff are extremely nice and helpful!
I didn't really like that the windows were overlooking the entrance of the resort, I couldn't really have the curtains open otherwise there would be no privacy.... That's really the only downside , however I think it's only that specific room I was in.

Verified reviewVery nice bungalows with a nice terrassa and many plants. The pool was excellent and the service very good, my wife was sick and everybody took care on her. The owner hepled us with medicine. The Wifi is also excellent and the food was tasty.
It is about 10 minutes drive to the center by tuk tuk and all arround the Hotel there are no restaurants and coffe shops. The next 7Eleven is also only reachable by tuk tuk.

Verified reviewA fantastic and beautiful oasis. The detached bungalows around a great pool made for a relaxing and tranquil setting away from .sightseeing around Battambang. The whole team were friendly and attentive which just added to the wonderful time we had during our stay

Verified reviewReally nice hotel with charme! The beautiful garden with a natur pool is stunning. Food is delicious. Staff was really friendly and helpful. They have a private tuk tuk driver who is a really nice and helpful person with good English knowledge. The owner is always around and asked several time if everything is alright. Really nice people there!
The room itself is okay but nothing special. But everything was clean and the room is well equipped. There is no TV. But I personally don't care about it.

Verified reviewWe enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very nice with lovely pool and garden. Owner and staff extremely friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Side note - most comfortable mattress we’ve had our entire time in Cambodia. We used the toot toot driver recommended by the hotel and he was reliable and knowledgeable, we used him for the 2 days of our stay and would recommend him to get around and see the local sights.

Verified reviewBreakfast was nice, although the choice was limited a bit to egg dishes. I had the Khmer noodle soup and it was delicious.
There was nothing really to dislike.
