Everything, the hotel was great, food was nice and staff was amazing! (Chan & Chan - they are all named the same and equally as nice) No bugs in rooms and anti-bugs spray! Free paddle boards, board games etc..

TV missing in the room

Quite location with a nice beach a place to relax and un wind. The food was ok but overall great bungalows and amazing staffs.

The resort is located at the beginning of Pagoda Beach, featuring a single pier for boats right next to it. A speedboat ride to Sihanoukville takes about 30 minutes. If you value convenience, I highly recommend this pier over the narrower and more crowded one at Long Set Beach.

The price for a room with a very small pool was higher than I expected for similar accommodations. There are only resorts nearby, and no way to buy anything outside of them without using transportation.

Great small beachfront hotel. The room was a great size with a lovely outdoor bathroom. The thing that really makes this hotel (apart from the beautiful beach) is the staff, they are awesome. Lovely Chen in the restaurant, Cham on reception & all the others, they can’t do enough for you. We had a beachfront deluxe room. I really hope and pray that this part of Koh Rong stays just as it is. Love this hotel.

Great breakfast, very good location. Excellent massage. Lovely staff who go out of their way to make everything so easy.

We only ate once at Anaya in the evening and were presented with the BBQ menu only - very disappointing. The staff were very accommodating and we ended up with a la carte which was delicious. On balance The Secret Garden has a more interesting menu and tastier dishes.

The staff were amazing. The location really beautiful.

The staff were amazing from prearranging cars and ferries to get across to Koh Rong, the bar staff all the way through to check out all staff went above and beyond - 5 stars. Added another night none of us wanted to leave. The rooms, weather, beaches and the beautiful clean sand

Location was beautiful, the beds on the beach, restaurant and pool were beautifully presented. Loved the atmosphere of the resort as a whole. Cannot fault the staff with their welcome and smiles trying to make our stay wonderful.

For paying quite a bit more than the average hotel we were expecting a higher standard. Linens and chair in our room were stained. Door was covered in dirty fingerprints. Small details like that which make you feel it’s not quite a high quality resort. We understand western standards are different but we’ve stayed at places for half the price that have been taken better care of. Restaurant was the biggest let down for us. Overpriced for average food. We wanted to stay at the resort, relax on the beach and not move. We would have happily eaten all our meals at the restaurant, however the meals we did have there were so disappointing. Two nights we opted to skip dinner rather than have to hunt for a new restaurant or eat another disappointing meal. That’s how unappealing the meals were. Instead of being spoiled for choice for breakfast we struggled each morning to choose something that would be enjoyable.

Location: Staying at Anaya Koh Rong was perfect for a solo traveler like me; the proximity to the beach allowed for both solitude and easy access to explore the island. Staff: The staff made me feel incredibly welcomed and safe as a solo traveler. Their friendliness and willingness to share local insights were invaluable for my adventure. Accommodations: The villa was not only beautiful but also offered a sense of security and privacy. The comfort of the space was a true retreat. Amenities: "The infinity pool was a serene spot to enjoy some solitude, and the variety of activities available made it easy to engage at my own pace or meet other guests." Atmosphere: "The atmosphere was tranquil yet sociable, striking the right balance for a solo traveler looking to relax or socialize when desired."

Shower inside the villa was beautiful (Outdoor) but mostly operational in the evenings.

Good beach location, bungalows are big and well designed, loved the outside bathroom, comfortable bed, good food. Very friendly and helpful staff, everyone speak good english.

Everything, the location it was perfect for relaxation. It's a place where you can enjoy some chill time at the pool and enjoy the amazing pagoda beach. Additionally, the staff were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

The staff was lovely and the bungalows was great. Stunning place. The surroundings was okay. Some off the other hotels along the beach was a bit defacing. And the surrounding area struggles with large amounts of rubbish.

Building work going on next door should be notified on their website. Breakfast was not good . I had one meal there, which didn’t enjoy. Didn’t think it was value for money so we ate most of the time in Sister property .

Food

The property is located right on the beach, the private pool rooms in which we stayed the last night was really good and it is probably better to spend more to have those rooms because the others could be a hit or miss. In general, the property and room are really clean. The staff is mostly good, especially Chan at the restaurant and Mark at the reception.

It was an overall hit or miss. Some rooms don’t have a door that fully closes, which was the case for the first one we ended up in. Luckily we were able to move to room 16 which was better. Some areas feel a bit left to themselves and with not much cure or maintenance and could use some improvements. We also had a problem with having muddy water for a couple of days but, you know, you are in a practically desert island. Food is OK at best but nothing that would make you want to run to the restaurant. Breakfast could use some improvement in variety. Even if most of the staff is good the girl at the reception could never understand what we needed and never provided us with assistance, we always had to ask twice to somebody else.

We enjoyed our stay, staff and owners were lovely. I think they are renovating some of the rooms and we might have gotten a bad one. Food was really nice!! The best fries. Private location which we loved.

The wifi is so bad! I stayed at another hotel in Koh Rong and the wifi there was perfect, so not sure if it's the remoteness of the island. Since the wifi is bad, it would be nice to have a tv in the room at least. The room was empty- there was a bed, a closet and a chair and just ample of space. It would be convenient to have a long bench or a side table or sth, as all our clothes and bags were spread on the floor (the closet didn't have much room as most of it was the mini bar) The bathroom was fine, but the faucets and shower-head were old and rusty. I washed my socks in the sink and they turned orange from the rust of the tap.
