He is one of those rare hosts who truly cares, crafting a personalized experience by exploring the island to highlight the most rewarding spots complete with a curated map that tuk-tuk drivers are trained to follow. Guests aren’t just visitors they’re welcomed like friends. Mael went above and beyond, even arranging alternative accommodations and luggage transfers when I unexpectedly needed to extend my stay. It was easily the best service I’ve experienced during my travels. Every detail is designed for enjoyment: the sparkling large swimming pool, the generous and mouthwatering breakfast buffet, and the fusion of French and Cambodian cuisine each meal better than the last. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, and the beachfront setting with great Wi-Fi rounds out the feeling of being in paradise. And for those who love authentic experiences: you can even go fishing with a local, and if luck is on your side, bring back your own catch to be freshly prepared by the kitchen. It doesn’t get more special than that ! To sum it up: Amor Resort is a rare gem with soul, style, HUGE ROOMS and unmatched service. Island facilities, roads and experiences are limited but that is part of the charm of the island, I guess. It's still developing.

Excellent beachside location. Large swimming pool. Very large, spotlessly clean rooms. Good poolside restaurant with excellent (included) breakfast. Very helpful, friendly owner (Mael) and staff who were a pleasure to deal with.

The location is excellent in the beautiful Coconut beach, the bungalows spacious and clean and the food at restaurant is very good. The owner and the staff are very kind and professional. It’s a pity I couldn’t stay longer!

The owner and manager were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. Pickup at the pier was smooth and easy. The owner himself greeted us and gave a great introduction to the island and all the things we could experience. Our bungalow had been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean. Both the air conditioning and the WiFi exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though they had a lot to do. The food at the restaurant was fresh and far better than what we’ve experienced elsewhere in Cambodia. Prices were very reasonable. We ate all our meals at the resort and were happy with every one of them. The pool was clean and inviting, and the beach was beautiful with crystal clear water. We went on both the private tuk tuk tour around the island and the private boat tour. I can highly recommend both. They are a great way to explore the island, especially since the resort is a bit remote. The prices for the tours were also fair and definitely worth it. We went snorkelling during the boat trip, and even though the water was not completely clear due to recent rain, visibility was still good, and we saw both corals and fish. Overall, I can truly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and affordable place to stay. It offers great value for money and is simply a wonderful place.

Location is great with only a few hotels on the beach, which was literally empty. Nice activities organized by the hotel (boat tour/fishing/snorkeling, Tuk Tuk tailored tours on the island, scooter renting, et.). Staff is friendly, the restaurant provides good options (Khmer and continental cuisine) and the owner (Maël) will go out of his way to help make the stay most enjoyable.

Road leading to resort was a challenge for me as for a Sunday motorcycle user.

Nice big room cleaned every day., good food, good size swimming pool and free side activities like kayaking and snorkeling. Great white beach and location on the side not in the centre of tourist spots.

The rooms are located in a garden along a sloped concrete path, which unfortunately is also used by scooters — even during the night — and the noise did wake us up. The separation between the bathroom and the bedroom is just a curtain, and the toilet and shower areas have frosted glass, so privacy could be improved — although this may be temporary, as the hotel was recently taken over. Also one small suggestion: it would be helpful to have an umbrella available in each room in case of rain, especially during monsoon season. The staff did give us an umbrella once at the restaurant though.

Very kind and attentive staff, with a warm welcome from the friendly French owner. The room was clean, very spacious with a comfortable king-size bed. The shower was large, and hygiene products were provided. The restaurant is open all day, which is very convenient. The food was good, all local products, and the breakfast was varied and generous. I loved the fish and chips, and the Amok fish was good too, better than the one from the restaurant next door. The pool is pleasant and offers an incredible view of the sea. The sand is white and powdery, the water is clear when calm — and we witnessed something extraordinary the evening we arrived: bioluminescent plankton glowing in the waves. Absolutely magical! The next evening, the phenomenon didn’t occur again, but we went for a swim after dark and simply moved our hands in the water to see it light up again. A must-see!

Mr. Mangoshake here to give a review; The hosts and service employees are all extremely friendly as well as professional. I ate all my meals at the resort during my stay, which is telling of how tasty the food is. The cleaning crew had always cleaned my room while I was having my breakfast. The bungalows are huge and I had plenty of space to do my yoga etc. inside it. The beach is nice as well... And I bet the place keeps on improving based on the discussions I had with the managers.

The excellent communication made an easy way to organise our last minute holidays. The staff is super good, the food is exceptional and the location is absolutely perfect. The hotel organised for us a fantastic trip for kids and us on a local fishing boat. The fisherman took us snorkeling with beautiful corals, fishes and clam shells then fishing and BBQ on the boat and a swim at dark with shiny krills. Like magic for all of us. The family room with a Seaview to die for! Beds super comfortable! Swimming pool to lounge around. White sand beach in front of us and a wharf to jump for! Forgot the house cocktails with real fruits! That was a real delight! Hard to beat such a place!

We stayed at Amor Resort for 4 nights. What a relaxing stay. Their motto is "everything is possible" and it sure was. Whatever you wanted they accomodated. A chill vibe in a slice of paradise. The food was delicious (best Chicken red curry). Breakfast options good. The cocktails are amazing. The staff are incredible sorry I have forgotten your name our waiter/barmen but you rock. Everyday big smile and your service was 5 star. We were catching a late overnight bus and they let us do a late check out this was super helpful and we were so grateful. If you want a nice quiet play to stay with a great vibe and good memories stay here you won't be disappointed. Thank you Armor team 💯 loved our 4 days.

The location on Coconut Beach is truly amazing The attentiveness of the staff from the moment we booked the accommodation who then contacted us and arranged all transfers to and from the resort. Arranging taxis and transport for our ongoing travels. The rooms were very clean and of a large size. Even the laundry detergent used made the sheets and towels smell amazing. The food is a mix of local and international cuisine prepared by a very talented chef. It is possibly the best espresso I have had in a long time. In all an amazing experience, stay and an attention to detail that makes travellers feel like family from the moment they arrive. Thank you so much.

We liked everything. Everywhere on the island experiences power cuts so we knew to expect this, but it’s just something to be mindful of for Koh Rong island in general. The room decor is a bit dated, and the access road is also very bumpy. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We loved the location on coconut beach! Although a bit smaller and further away from others, the sand was white and the beach so quiet during our stay- it was really peaceful and relaxing, and is perfect if you want peace and quiet. We visited some other beaches and this was our favourite! The staff were all so welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and they really add to the charm of this place. The room was really clean and spacious too. The food was also really tasty and reasonably priced, and a huge cocktail menu too!

Amor Resort is a perfect place to on Koh Rong, the breakfast was great, the rooms were very big and the bed was confortable. We did many activities that the hotel proposed ( boat tour, tuktuk around the island, diving, kayaking ... ) The staff was very helpful on the recommendation around the island as there is no Tourist information. Because of them, we found incredible places that the tourist don't know. The restaurant was all home made and we could eat fresh fish from the island. Hard to do better for this price. Incredible place, I highly recommend

Our stay at Amor Resort was magical, we chose this place for our anniversary and we could not be happier with our choice. The resort was a small piece of paradise, fantastic service, amazing food (the Sea Bass filet was mind blowing...) and a beautiful ocean view. Special thanks to Laurent, who made sure we were fantastically taken care of. Even tho we stayed only 1 days, we will be back for sure! We can't recommend this more. 11/10!
