The mattresses in the yurt were worn and uncomfortable. Furthermore the pictures of the garden should be updated.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. There are a lot of activities being organised by either the hostel or people they personally know. I would love to stay again.

It was not my first stay at Tunduk hostel, I was really happy to be back as I enjoyed it so much the first time. The dorms are really clean and the common areas so nice to hang out in. Also the kitchen is fully equipped. Staff is very helpful and nice, I definitely recommend this place, again!

The pool was a great addition, the accomodations were clean and cosy. Lots of chilling areas which is nice when you have to arrive early (due to planes hours) and have to wait for your room and the staff was absolutely wonderful. always smilly and they went out of their way to accomodate us. We met Azema who spoke french and who passionately shared recommendations of what to do during our trip. She even help us with our following reservations. Highly recommend stating there.

Only bad part in my opinion is that it feels like the owners (very friendly to me) try to make as much money out of it as they can. For example laundry is relatively pricey with 400 som and they will put just a very short program what won’t clean your very dirty clothes properly. Also using the pool after check out or even staying at the place after 2 pm at the check out day requires 400 som. That gives me the feeling of just being welcome if I keep paying and if not to be kicked out. For the future that would be something to change for maintaining this place so great and feeling like home a bit more.

We stayed one night at Tunduk Hostel in Bishkek and had a really great time. It was the perfect place to start our trip in Kyrgyzstan — we were able to book our 4-day horse trekking thanks to Azemat, who was incredibly helpful and supportive right from the beginning. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and everything was clean. The pool looked super inviting — unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy it, but we hope to come back and try it next time! Breakfast was also very good, and overall, this is truly a fantastic hostel. Don’t miss it if you’re in Bishkek! Azemat speaks fluent French and English, and she can help organize many excursions throughout Kyrgyzstan. She really made a difference in the start of our journey.

It's a way away from the center of Bishkek, and traffic /road works means getting around takes time.

The staff were amazing. Excellent communication, and helped us to arrange a fantastic 5 day tour. We had a private room that was away from everything, nice and quiet. Thanks to Azema and Yzat for an amazing Kyrgyz experience.

It was the best stay in Bishkek. Azema is really nice, friendly, helpful and answer all the questions you might have. She organized a trip for us around Kyrgyzstan which was unforgettable and everything was perfect. Room was really clean and hostel really friendly, I felt like at home. - Dorm room was really hot inside (even hotter than outside). The AC didn’t seem to do anything - The outdoor sitting area was bit dirty/messy (like empty beer bottles, cig butts around etc)

- Has everything you need (kitchen, outdoor area, pool, spacious dorms etc) - Staff are great, they speak excellent English and can organise tours with them (I organised the Song-Kul horse trek with them and had an amazing time on it, cheap price too) - Mainly a backpacker hostel so many people to talk to and get travel recommendations from.

Location is far from anything and Bishkek is super heavy traffic city all the time so it takes to go anywhere.

Lovely hostel with lots of room choices. There is kitchen, big nice shower and swimming pool. The staff takes care of the place throughout the day, checking if things are clean. I had a great stay!

Tunduk hostel is one of the best I've ever been in. Personal of the object is very, very helpful, friendly and taking care of the guests. They speak English and Russian what's very useful. Object has kitchen where we could prepare meals saving both money and time. There's garden and a lot of space around to just chill and charge own battery. Wifi there is good and there are few shops and groceries around ( both info's could fe important and helpful). It was our first time in Kirgistan; first but not last. Surely next time we gonna stay in Tunduk. ❤️

I am travelling in last 20 years and un the last 3 years continuously. Honestly I never saw such organised, clean , nice type if 5 star but with little money. Especially big thanks to azima who helped me and alot of others and answered all questions. She kindly booked me cheap flight from bushkik to 9sh with her own card which make the price much more difference. Thank you Every time o visit bishkik I definitely will visit you. Recommend to all type of travellers.

Second time at tunduk hostel and again very satisfied! Everyone is very nice and the rooms are really cozy (with heater).This time there was a new kitchen, which is very well equipped. It was no problem to stay longer spontaneously and all questions were answered very friendly. Highly recommended!
