The only positive thing was having access to a washing machine — but that doesn’t even come close to making up for how filthy, and unpleasant this hostel is.

This was hands down one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Yes, my room had air conditioning and was reasonably soundproofed, but that’s where the positives end. The mattresses were old, stained, and disgusting. The kitchen was a complete health hazard — filthy, with a fridge that was frosted over, smelled terrible, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The rubbish bin was constantly overflowing, flies were everywhere, and there was only one element to cook on. Dirty dishes were stacked all over the place. I honestly felt like I could get sick just by stepping into that kitchen. The bathrooms were gross too. Toilet bins had no lids so the smell was awful, only two female showers were working, and the men’s toilet reeked of cigarettes because people were clearly using it as a smoking room. The common area was no better: dirty couches, rubbish and dishes left everywhere, zero effort to keep the place clean or comfortable. Do yourself a favor: don’t stay here. There are better, cleaner options in Osh.

Cleanliness is a big issue, in particular the men's toilet room. The fact that there are two toilets for multiple people is also a problem.

Whereas the room was OK, the rest of the hostel was pretty dirty, especially the men bathroom. It really needs more maintenance and attention to cleanliness.

Toilets could be cleaner

Best starting point for your journey, great equipment, great beds, great common area, very uncomplicated and kind staff. Right in the centre too.

It's a hostel remade from an old restaurant. Staff are nice and helpful. Wide mattresses.

Dirt under the bed. One showerhead not functioning, so just two showers for females in a big hostel. Also just two toilets. Unfortunately many hippies.

I think it is not properly cleaned for the amount of people that comes and goes. An effort could be done in that sense.

I like the location, the stuff, the ability to wash clothes.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay more

The location is perfect, super central. The hostel has a very nice outside sheltered relax area, great to chill and spend your time to recharge energies on your way. The price/quality rate is very good, you get a room with air conditioned, big lockers (that's a must for me), kitchen and basically everything you ask from an hostel.

The whole place was dirty. Kitchen was disgusting, toilets were hardly cleaned, only bins emptied. At one stage all the hand soap bottles were empty...even the dish soap was empty for a while. Shower curtains only. Dorm beds had no light. And under the dorm beds have never been cleaned. No water for drinking and no nearby shops to buy anything. Dorms face directly near social area so you will always hear noise. I get it, its cheap, but that doesn't mean guests should expect to live in filth.. Oh and they offer you 100 som off your stay if you leave a positive review... So now I know why the rating is good. What a con. What a shame. Oh and add on that guests were super rude rustling bags at 12.30 at night with lights on and talking. Does no one understand that others are sleeping? I guess cheap price attracts cheap guests.

The location is ace with tons of restaurants and shops around. The single room I had was spacious and the AC worked well. Despite facing the courtyard, the room was quiet. It’s a quiet hostel overall which I appreciated. The laundry for 200 somoni is great and there are drying racks all around outside. There’s also a tiny kitty on the property. There is a kitchen to make your own breakfast and food too.

The shared bathroom isn’t the cleanest, there are hairs and such in the bathroom stalls and on the floors, but it’s not the worst I’ve been to. There was never any queue when I went to shower or use the toilet. The WiFi works but it’s unstable at times, dropping in and out, such as in the evening when I guess everyone is on it. Unfortunately like everywhere in the Stans, animal welfare is pretty rubbish and the tiny kitty seems more taken care of my tourists than the staff. 🙄 Also payment by cash only.
