How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The only negative was that it wasn't very social. Most of the guests seemed to be workers, not tourists.
This was OK for one night. The dormitory beds are comfortable and huge. The aircon worked well.

Location is ok.
Clean, quiet and pods has own privacy which is rare in hostels a lot of space to sit and relax kitchen is not the best but has free tea and water.

The staff speak limited English and don't seem especially friendly. There was a bit of a confrontation with a girl in the room over an open window and I wasn't thrilled by the way it was handled. She ended up getting moved, but I felt like communication about the situation could have been better. The location isn't great, but there are definitely worse places to stay
The hostel seems quite new and the pod-style beds were very comfortable.They apparently allow animals in the hostel and a woman had her small dog in the dorm while I was there. There is plenty of space to hang out in the adjoining cafe and kitchen. The kitchen is basic, but generally functional. They have laundry for a small fee (wash and dry). The bathrooms were quite good and were stocked with a few personal care items for guest use.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel,The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any request. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The common areas were cozy and provided a great opportunity to meet other travelers. The location was easy access to public transport and major attractions. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and welcoming place to stay!

Clean, nice bed, very nice staff and some can speak English. Kitchen facilities are well equipped for all basic need. Vibe is cozy, common area is nice. There is a washroom only for women, clean and sufficient. bus stops nearby the convenience to everywhere.

comfortable beds with a lot of privacy, great location in walking distance to the city centre & supermarkets and a bus station right across the street. very friendly staff! i ended up extending my stay 3 nights because i liked it so much! i was also able to store my luggage while i was trekking.

Nothing. Great value for money at 12 dollars for 2 nights.
Modern setting. Well organised. Female dorm of 6 and mixed dorms, as well as rooms. Kitchen and cafe. Fairly near buses and city centre. Walkable. I enjoyed my stay of 2 nights and would come again. Very quiet, as I was the only female in the dorm!! Super comfy bed with curtains and sockets. Breakfast available for 300som.

More hangers in the room would be handy, to put the towels. The water pressure of the shower wasn't the best but at least it was cleaned often.
Walking distance to the main sites in Bishkek, beds are very comfortable and private. The coffee from the machine is good and at a very good price. Very clean place as well. Lockers are huge.

While the bed itself was very comfortable, it was a bit too hot in the room - but I guess it's better in the summer when the A/C is turned on

The location is good.. Front of Hostel there is a bus station, which is good to go within city.. The hostel itself is very clean, calm and peaceful to stay

The common area could have better. There are no locks in the shower room. They have filter installed for drinking water, but there was no water bottle in the filter the night I stayed on. Hope it was a temporary issue.
The beds were very comfortable, just little noisy. Dorm was very spacious and everything was working fine. The staff is good and courteous. The shower space and washrooms built well, and were clean!

- Bathrooms need hangers, it's a must. No place to hang your clothes. - Air conditioning was off. - Hostel need to enforce rules regarding noisy people. - Lcoation is a big off but still close to center.
- Beds with good privacy and enough space to place your devices. - Nice and big lockers. - Nice staff, Astra specially tried always to help me. - Good price. - Good coffee place. - Clean and big bathrooms.
