United KingdomMy niece was there on her 9th birthday and we requested if the staff can make a little celebration of it with a candle to blow on a plate cake (within the dessert selection so nothing specifically made for her). They refused this request as it was not requested at the time of booking. A little disappointing..
Booked this holiday for my family as a gift and they enjoyed everything there is to offer. They also got upgraded to rooms that had ocean view, which was greatly appreciated.

The facilities and staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and they were keen to ensure u were having a good time and often asked. The beach is a bit of a no go area due to goods and safari sellers, but the 3 great pools made up for that. We had a superior room that had just been refurbished and it was superb. Very large and the USB A and C sockets were handy. Great aircon and ceiling fan kept us cool. The food was plenty full but had a distinct asian style so if you love that type of food you’re in luck. Some more European style food would have been welcome. Our all-inclusive package gave us a great range of drink including cocktails but beware they use the local spirits, if u want the good branded stuff u have to pay extra. Lastly tipping is expected so having a few US$1 goes a long way to ensuring u get the best service.

United KingdomThe first room that we were allocated was a standard room was not what we expected and was very dated. The shower only had scolding hot water and no cold water and the taps just kept turning. The management offered to fix the shower but since the room did not meet our expectations at all, we opted to pay more to get an upgrade to a superior room with sea view. The upgraded room was amazing but that also cost us a lot more money that we had not planned for.
Early morning swim in sports pool was fantastic because it had very few swimmers. The variety of the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good, however all the food needs to have a detailed explanation of the ingredients, not just some dishes. The themed days which included activities, food and evening entertainment was also very good.
