How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

For clothing storage, some kind of easy ‘pull out’ hanging rod could be installed. It can fold down along the wall if people don’t use it. There were only a couple hooks to lay out clothes or jackets.
Great location. Wonderful croissants! Nice variety of communal spaces to relax (cafe, lobby couches, side-lobby room with cozy tables, rooftop bar, etc. Rooms are small but modern, staff is wonderful, the manager is accessible and takes personal initiative when I made a small constructive feedback concern. We love this place!

The rooms have very little counter space - there's nowhere to put things. You could easily put folding counters

Rooms a bit small but expected
We opted for room only so I cannot comment on the breakfast, however, I liked the option that we could get coffee on the go since we had early pickups from the hotel. Staff was really helpful, security made us feel very safe and the hotel was very clean and modern.

Still adjusting to no wadrobes in the room so you operate from your suitcase
Very friendly staff and welcoming.Special thanks to the receptionists Lydia and Jaynita.Also Lydia the one who was cleaning my room and Alice the security lady.These people ensured i had an awesome stay and i felt like home.Very helpful and kind ladies☺️

Asking for payment for anything extra. For example, no toiletries like toothpaste or shower cap. We had to pay for it.

I was requesting to pay for my breakfast at the time of check out, but the staff insisted I pay then. Which was a bit strange. The kids club, seemed a bit forgotten, it was a nice corner but needed a bit more of attention.
The check in staff was very sweet! We requested a late check out bec our flight was later in the day, and the person at the check in gave us extra time! Very sweet of her. The bed is very comfortable, with good amenities.

There is a lovely restaurant on the top floor. The menu had a wide variety and the food was very delicious. The staff were excellent and their service was impeccable. The room was also clean, comfortable, and easy to relax in.

We paid more for deluxe room but I couldn’t tell the difference between that and the standard room I had previously stayed in. No plug socket on one side of bed. Pastries and cakes at the coffee bar were all very dry/stale. We actually couldn’t eat them.

The room was too small, and rather than a chair and proper table there was a stool which hurt my back and a very rudimentary table. The room should have carpet.
The staff, security, overall services in the hotel were excellent, the breakfast restaurant was excellent especially the open air area.

Nothing. For Ibis very good. Great coffee shop. Great team. They accommodated my friends very early check in request.
A great location. A great price. Everything you expect from an Ibis. Clean, comfortable rooms. Mine was spacious. I booked a twin in case my friend needed the spare bed as she was on an overnight flight. The team working there were just fabulous. Felt very secure. Tap card to get into the lift. Then tap again to get into your hallway.
