Water took a while to heat up in the shower. Check in and check out, rather slow in getting porters to bring luggage to and from room. We changed rooms during our stay, the process took several hours and reminders before someone came to asssit with moving our luggage.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, with a genuine desire for guest comfort and satisfaction. From the warm reception at arrival, restaurant staff who effortlessly took care of dietary restrictions, housekeeping etc., all were first rate. Outstanding facilities, beautiful grounds, a lively programme of events for all ages, and a first rate spa experience.

Everything about this resort is perfect. I’d recommend it to anyone. The only downside is the beach. There’s a good that comes with it. There are a lot of things to do. Jet skiing, camel riding, boat rides, snorkeling, and etc. However the locals make it an annoying experience. They sit on the beach waiting to poach and harass tourists to buy from them. They’re persistent as well. It’ll make you not want to go on the beach. However the resort itself has a lot going on to where you’ll never get bored. Nothing like the bar in one of 5 pools the resort has. Really lovely place overall.

Renovation of the THAI CHI by the sea restaurant and LIDO bar for the whole of our stay meant that use of our ‘all inclusive’ meal package was limited to the general buffet and cafe / pizzeria menu. This was a disappointment. Access to a VIP lounge that was advertised didn’t seem to exist.

Lovely pools, immaculate gardens and general layout and design of the hotel was beautiful. We received a room upgrade, which compensated for the disappointment of limited restaurant use due to undisclosed renovations on arrival.

Older and cheaper rooms are really run down. Music during dinner can be quite loud when you are seated wrongly.

Comparatively near to the airport, so no big hassle with transfers. Great pools and wonderful Spa area. New rooms are spacious. Excellent kids area and indoor playgrounds.

The room we were in had condensation. But they sorted that out the next day. Also there was an issue with the mattress. Staff were very apologetic and that also got sorted and everyone was very nice. Guest relations Manager Claire was great. They made sure we were looked after and made sure our stay was pleasant. 😃

The breakfast had a great selection. Lots of variety. Food was excellent especially the salads!

There are no indoor restaurants (only outdoor) and it was very hot--wish there were more air-conditioned dining options. Also they need an ATM on-site (closest one is a cab ride away)
