I liked everything about PeeKAboo

The place within proximity of other necessary facilities like hospital, airport,other restaurants,supermarkets. Easy access to the beach.Clean rooms and spacious. Very welcoming property owner whom I at first thought were just guests.The staff always near and ready to help.Also very humble and friendly.Keep up the good work Hatibu,Beatrice, Juma and Vincent.The calm environment enabled my partner and I to relax well.I can recommend PeeKAboo to everyone.PeekAboo is a home away from home. This small resort is very nice, it has a beautiful pool, it is quiet at the back streets of Diani, just 5mins walk from the beach. The small pool makes for excellent relaxation in the evenings, and the small number of rooms makes it a very exclusive place. The team is great, especially the breakfast is very nice and has a great variety. To me it is the best place in Diani so far. You feel that the staff is well trained, and standards that Western tourists expect are well kept.

We had an incredible time and can't recommend this venue enough! From the welcoming security to the delicious food and stunning location, everything was perfect. A special shoutout to the chef for the outstanding meals and to the wonderful Beatrice – her warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. We will always keep you in our hearts for making our stay so special. I recommend this cosy, very intimate place to anyone who wants to have a unique experience in Diani. The rooms with kitchen are well kept, and perfect for couples who need privacy. The Chef is great and the meals are delicious. It has pool and beautiful gardens, only few minutes to the beach PeeKAboo has a beautiful positive vibe, thanks to a wonderful combination of well motivated, courteous and lovable staff, beautiful well kept settings and brillant Management. We loved our stay at Peekaboo. Employees are very friendly and make you feel like at home. Rooms are super clean. Breakfast is delicious with lots of fresh fruit. They clean the pool daily and you can use it all day. To the beach is only 10 min walk.

Only bad thing I can bring up is that the pool turned my blonde hair green. Not green green, but a bit green. Enough that people see it but could have been worse.

Loved this stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. You have a kice sofa outside with a fan so you can sitt there all day long and relax. The pool is a good size and is shaded during morning and early evening. Everyone was super nice, the breakfast was tasty.

Personally, I like firm mattresses and small pillows, but some may find it uncomfortable.

I liked everything! At the reception, everything was shown, everything was explained and told 🙂 Everything is fresh, clean, nothing needs repair. everything is cleaned outside and is constantly maintained in perfect order. Great pool. Great service! The room has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Kitchen with everything the necessary. The air conditioner (you have to pay for it separately) the fan would turn, the fan is even outside, for comfort. I liked everything and if I have the chance, I will definitely come back here!

The bedsheets did not feel the most comfortable.

Really good location in the heart of Diani, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The place was peaceful and beautiful, and the breakfast was simple but really nice! The staff were also super friendly and made us feel welcomed.

We visited in December which is one of the hotter months with temperatures up to 32 degrees. There is a ceiling fan and a standing fan provided, however, AC is at a charged between 300-500 ksh per day this can be quite pricey on top of everything else. The rooms only have 2 mirrors in the bathroom but could benefit having another in the bedroom.

Peekaboo is a private hotel with only 5 rooms holding a maximum of 10 people which makes it intimate, private and personable. Hatibu, Fatima, Beatrice and the rest of the team were absolutely lovely and no request was too much, also, advised how much tuk tuk to places should cost etc. Breakfast is included with your stay which is nice, lunch & dinner can be requested at an extra cost. The hotel is under a 5 minute walk to the main road where you can hail a boda boda/tuk tuk etc or walking distance to some bars and restaurants. The premises is secure with the gate always locked and security guard at night. Private massages can be requested at the hotel.

Everything was really nice and friendly. To be honest the bed and pillows where not good for me. Thin mattress and very light pillow. But thats a personal preference thing.

Breakfast is amazing. The chef is friendly. He makes the best pancakes for sure :) Food is fresh and tasty. Appreciate! Next to the main road so catching a tuk tuk is not a problem at all. AC is working just fine. Pool is clean and neat.

We had a wonderful 1 week stay at PeeKAboo ! The staff is outstanding & the accommodation so beautiful 👌🏼 it’s a calm oasis to escape the sometimes busy Diani beach area. With only having 5 huts, it has a very laidback atmosphere, the pool is fantastic, the breakfast is just what you need (eggs, pancakes, fruit, toast). I would recommend to book a massage with them as well !

Everything was amazing! The beach is only a 15 minute walk or 5 minute tuk-tuk ride away, which makes peekaboo a lovely quiet spot, away from all the busy resorts. The host and staff were all extremely friendly to chat with and accommodating, arranging for early breakfast for me before my diving trips. I highly recommend staying at peekaboo!

We had the absolut BEST stay at peekaboo! The rooms were beautiful and comfy as well as the pool area and outdoor restaurant! The staff was more than friendly and made us feel right at home, every single one of them!! This was honestly our favourite stay we had during our 1 month travel around the country! Breakfast was delicious, we loved watching the monkeys in the trees, enjoying relaxing time by the pool, having a glass of wine on our terrace and of course talking to the lovely staff. If you e come across this place, look no further, its a real gem! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back for sure!!! Asante sana for everything!
