Kenya- The bathroom definitely needs some refurbishment. A few bathroom essentials were missing and some plumbing fixtures were heavily rusted, loose/falling off or missing all together. - Their all inclusive package is nothing to write home about. Many typical hot summer drinks and desserts were not present on the menu. - This hotel doesn't have a beach but rather a beautiful cliff side. The small public beach that's right outside is best avoided at night. There was a little tiny beachside fine dining eatery but we just didn't opt to eat there even once because the frequency of beach boys day and night is actually annoying. However amazing sea views from within the boundary wall of the hotel. Essentially ocean swimming or moonlight beach walks would have to be done elsewhere while staying at this hotel.
- Very beautiful hotel. The pool was not too cold and sometimes even warm. The food was good. - Rooms were okay. All the staff were very friendly. - Small boutique location for that holiday when you mostly just want to chill. Loved the overall experience. We did not leave the hotel for three days. There was hardly any reason to as we wanted a very relaxed and slow vibe and this hotel offered exactly that. - There was evening entertainment on key days and daily water activities with a coach which is great. They also seemed to have a wide array of table games for those interested. - Very instagrammable hotel.

KenyaUmmh I may not say I didn't like it 10/10 but I give it 5/10 it's the breakfast menu, it's somehow same everyday which somehow as a person makes you bored to join it😔.
I and my family we liked the warmly welcome we were given, the hotel organized a lot of entertainment which made us feel more comfortable and happy to be there. The food was amazing 10/10 to make it short everything there was super awesome.

BelgiumWe miss slippers. I feel all the time there are sands on the floor. It was a strange experience. Furthermore: there is no hot water during our shower. Yes, I know. Outside is hot, but I like to take a warm shower. It gives me a good sleepy feeling to go to bed.
When we arrived at check-in receptionist, we need to wait longer because of the issue with our room. Because of the waiting time, we have received a complimentary drink. Nice! The room was spacious. The bathroom was small but good enough. The balcony is nice to have with our room. The breakfast was presented in luxuries style. We like the way they do a little more to present the breakfast as a better experience.

United Kingdom1. Wi-Fi connection in the rooms was extremely poor. This was really frustrating and we had to depend on local data bundles when browsing or working in the room. The hotel needs to install an additional router close to the rooms to boost the connection. 2. Food, drinks and dessert variety was significantly limited and repetitive on a daily basis which made the meals uninteresting, and for us who had paid all inclusive, it felt like a waste as there were barely and drinks included in the all inclusive package. In fact, in comparison to other all inclusive hotels I have been to along the coast, this was the least value for money we’ve experienced from an all inclusive package. I wouldn’t recommend booking this if you’re looking for a proper all inclusive package experience. 3. Excursions are extremely overpriced and overrated, clearly priced for European tourists as they are all sold in Euros. I recommend checking with local vendors offering the exact same packages and experience at a fifth of the price.
Stay duration: 4 nights (5 days) 1. Very friendly staff which made it a good experience. 2. Good pool location, and very clean changing rooms too. 3. Large rooms cleaned on a daily. 4. Great location giving the perfect blend of beach and cliff scenery. 5. Kokomo restaurant which is a must see when in Watamu is literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel along the beach.

United StatesThe beach access is not connected and covered in sea weed. It wasn't a big deal for us because we prefer the pool and views, but it could be a big deal for others.
The location was great if you want wonderful views and easy access to town. It I has very beautiful buildings and landscaping. The staff are very kind. The price is very reasonable.

South AfricaThere are no dedicated smoking areas, so for a none smoker and especially with kids it gets irritating when you are constantly engulfed in smoke in common areas like during meal time, at the pool. This was quite annoying especially when as a principle you have chosen not to expose your young ones to smoke, when this is forced on you it is quite inconsiderate in this day and age.

United KingdomI think as a solo female traveller I felt a little unsafe walking out of the back of the hotel where the security guard would let sellers walk straight up to me and start to pester me. I didn't feel safe as a solo female traveller, it actually prevented me walking to the beach solo. I had to order a tuk tuk.
I liked the atmosphere and the relaxed vibes around the pool. The rooms were also very clean with a nice balcony and view. The receptionists were very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my luggage on my last day while I went shopping on the high street right outside the hotel. It was a perfect location to see all the local crafts and shop and then pick up a tuk tuk to the beaches.

United Arab EmiratesFloodlight outside the window lit up the room all night. When highlighted, the solution was to hang a bed sheet over the window. This was low season so no excuse for not moving rooms. Serving real Kenyan coffee at breakfast instead of instant powder would be a step up.
Friendly staff Nice restaurant , Kokomo , just outside the hotel. Beach access On site tour operator very good. Gedi ruins , Robinson Island and Hells Kitchen trips highly recommended.

KenyaWhere do I begin? The callous racism that my friends and I experienced. Whites received far much better treatment than us and one staff even admitted to it stating they they frequent the place more than we do. The room toilets were not clean, no robes, slippers or sufficient toiletries provided. Food poisoning, food wasn’t fresh and the menu was limited to not Italian cuisine. They updated our booking a day after payment to extort us into paying more, good thing I had saved my previous booking.
